Treks in the Himalayan region, including Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Sikkim are dominated by cloudy skies and rainfall, creating a refreshing yet challenging environment on the trails. From lower forested sections to high-altitude camps, trekkers are experiencing intermittent rainfall throughout the day, with periods of moderate to heavy showers in some areas.
While the showers add to the beauty of the Himalayas, they also require extra caution on the trail. Trek routes are becoming slippery, especially on steep ascents, descents, and rocky sections. Trekkers are advised to wear proper rain protection, waterproof footwear, and carry backpack covers to keep essential gear dry. Our ground teams are continuously monitoring weather conditions to ensure safe movement on all routes.

There’s a saying among the trekkers: “No two treks can ever be the same." I’ve always believed it. But this time, when I revisited this trek that I've already done, I realised something deeper: “Even the same trail can feel completely different."
