The weather across all the Himalayan trails has shifted once again. Since last night, some areas have experienced quite windy weather. All the trekking regions, be it Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, or even the North-East trekking area, too, are experiencing mixed weather, in some places it's cloudy and in some it’s all sunny weather today. So, you can expect little rain later in the day too. Therefore, we firmly advise that it’s better to keep yourself prepared and carry even the rain gear too. Although even after the sudden weather change, all the treks are running as per schedule. In fact, some new treks have also begun today. Now, here is today’s update on various trekking batches.

UTTARAKHAND TREKS UPDATE

KEDARKANTHA SUMMER CAMP

The weather at the Kedarkantha base camp (Sankari Village) is all mixed today. Sometimes it’s cloudy and sometimes it’s sunny. As for the batch update -

• Another batch of kids’ summer camp began on 29th May, and they are on the 2nd day of their trek schedule. Today they will have an acclimatization and team building day at the Base Camp.

Har Ki Dun Trek

The weather at the Har Ki Dun base camp (Sankari) is all mixed today. Sometimes it’s cloudy and sometimes it’s sunny. As for the batch update,

• The 24th May batch is on the last day of their schedule, and today they will move from Pauni Gharat to Dharkot and drive to Sankri.
• The 25th May batch is on the 6th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Pauni Gharat to Dharkot and drive to Sankri.
• A batch of family and kids is also on 30th May, and today they will also move from Dehradun to Sankari.
• A regular batch of Har Ki Dun begins on 30th May, and today they will move from Dehradun to Sankari.

Kedar Tal Trek

The weather at the Kedar Tal base camp (Gangotri) is cloudy too. As for the batch update-

• The 25th May batch is on the 6th day of their schedule, and today, they will move from Kedar Kharak to Gangotri.
• A new batch of Kedar Tal trek began on 30th May, and today they will move from Dehradun to Gangotri.

Gaumukh Tapovan Trek

The weather at the Gaumukh Tapovan base camp in Gangotri is cloudy today. As for the batches:

• The 23rd May batch is on the last day of their schedule, and today, they will depart for Dehradun.
• The 24th May batch is on the 7th day of their schedule, and today, they will move from Bhojwasa to Gangotri.
• A new batch of Gaumukh Tapovan has begun on 30th May, and today they will move from Dehradun to Gangotri.

Auden’s Col Expedition

The weather at the Auden’s Col Expedition base camp (Gangotri) is cloudy today. As for the batch update-

• A new batch of Auden’s Col expedition began on 30th May, and today they will move from Dehradun to Gangotri.

Chopta Chandrashila Tungnath Trek with Deoriatal

The weather at the Chopta Chandrashila base camp (Sari Village) is sunny today. As for the batch update -

• A regular batch of Chotpa Chandrashila begins on 30th May, and today they will move from Dehradun to Gangotri.
• A batch of family and kids is also on 30th May, and today they will also move from Dehradun to Gangotri.

Dayara Bugyal Trek

The weather at the Dayara Bugyal base camp (Natin) is cloudy today. As for the batch update -

• A new batch of Dayara Bugyal began on 30th May, and today they will move from Dehradun to Natin Village.
• A batch of family and kids is also on 30th May, and today they will also move from Dehradun to Natin Village.

Bali Pass Trek

The weather at the Bali Pass base camp (Sankari) is all mixed today. Sometimes it’s cloudy and sometimes it’s sunny. As for the batch update—

• The 24th May batch is on the 7th day of their trek schedule, and today, they will trek from Bali Col Camp to Lower Dhamni via Bali Pass.
• The 25th May batch is on the 6th day of their trek schedule, and today, they will trek from Odari to Bali Col Camp.
• The 29th May batch is on the 2nd day of their trek schedule, and today, they will trek from Sankari to Seema via Dharkot.
• A new batch of Bali Pass began on 30th May, and today they will move from Dehradun to Sankari.

HIMACHAL TREKS UPDATE

Rupin Pass Trek

The weather at the Rupin Pass Trek base camp (Bawta) is all cloudy today. As for the batch update -

• The two batches of 24th May are on the last day of their schedule, and today they will move from Ronti Gad to Sangla and drive to Shimla.
• The two batches of 25th May are on the 6th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Upper Waterfall to Ronti Gad via Rupin Pass.
• The two batches of the 26th May batch are on the 5th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Dandreyash Thatch to Upper Waterfall.
• The 28th May batch is on the 3rd day of their schedule, and today they will move from Jakha to Saruwas Thatch.
• The 29th May batch is on the 2nd day of their schedule, and today they will move from Bawta to Jakha.
• Two new batches of Rupin Pass began on 30th May, and today they will arrive in Bawta.

Buran Ghati Trek

The weather in Janglik, the base camp of the Buran Ghati trek, is all cloudy today. As for the trek updates:

• The two batches of 24th May are on the 7th day of their schedule, and today, they will trek from Munirang to Barua village & drive to Shimla.
• The two batches of 25th May are on the 6th day of their schedule, and today they will trek from Dhunda to Munirang (River Camp) via Buran Ghati Pass.
• The 28th May batch is on the 3rd day of their schedule, and today, they will trek from Dayara Thatch to Litham.
• The 29th May batch is on the 2nd day of their schedule, and today they will move from Janglik to Dayara Thatch.
• Two new batches of Buran Ghati began on 30th May, and today they will move from Shimla to Janglik.

Kareri Lake Trek

The weather at the Kareri Lake base camp, which is Kareri Village, is all cloudy today. As for the batches:

• The 28th May batch is on the last day of their schedule, and today they will descend to Kareri Village.

Beas Kund Trek

The weather at the Beas Kund base camp (Dhundi) is cloudy today. As for the batch update-

• A new batch of Beas Kund began on 30th May, and today they will drive from Manali to Dhundi and trek to Palchhani Thacha.

Sar Pass Trek

The weather at the Sar Pass trek base camp (Kasol) is cloudy today. As for the batch update-

• A new batch of Sar Pass trek began on 30th May, and today they will move from Kasol to Grahan Village.

NORTH-EAST TREKS UPDATE

Goechala Trek

The weather at the Goechala Trek base camp (Yuksom) is cloudy again. As for the batch update—

• The 23rd May batch is on the 8th day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Lamuney to Goechala via Samiti Lake back to Thansing/Kokchhurung.
