TTH Trek Update: New Batches of Valley of Flowers and Hampta Pass Trek Begin Today
All the trekking regions in Himachal and Uttarakhand are experiencing mixed weather today. In some regions, it's all rainy, while in some regions it gets cloudy sometimes. Although all the batches are running completely as per schedule, still we will advise that you must carry all the monsoon trekking essentials with you. From raincoat/poncho's to waterproof trekking shoes you should carry it all. And don’t forget to carry a trekking pole.
Make sure to add a few buffer days in your trekking schedule, and always keep yourself updated with the latest trek updates. Now, here is the current status of all the batches that are currently ongoing.
UTTARAKHAND TREKS UPDATE
Valley of Flowers Trek
The weather at the Valley of Flowers base camp (Pipalkoti) is rainy today. As for the batches:
The two batches of 25th July are on the last day of their schedule, and today they will move from Pipalkoti to Rishikesh.
The two batches of 26th July are on the 5th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Ghangaria to Govindghat and drive to Pipalkoti.
The two batches of 27th July are on the 4th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib and back to Ghangaria.
The 28th July batch is on the 3rd day of their schedule, and today they will trek from Ghangaria to Valley of Flower and back to Ghangaria.
The 29th July batch is on the 2nd day, and today they will drive from Pipalkoti to Govindghat-Pulna and Trek to Ghangaria.
A new batch of Valley of Flowers has begun on 30th July, and today they will drive from Rishikesh to Pipalkoti.
HIMACHAL TREKS UPDATE
Hampta Pass Trek
The weather at the Hampta Pass base camp (Manali) has turned cloudy today. As for the batches:
The 26th July batch is on the last day of their trek schedule, and today they will drive from Chatru to Manali.
The two batches of 27th July are on the 4th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Shea Goru to Chatru and drive to Chandratal.
The 28th July batch is on the 3rd day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Balu Ka Ghera to Shea Goru via Hampta Pass.
A new batch of Hampta Pass began on 30th July, and today they will drive from Manali to Jobra and then trek from Jobra to Chhika.
Pin Bhaba Trek
The weather at the Pin Bhaba Pass base camp (Kafnu) is rainy today. As for the batches:
The 23rd July batch is on the last day of their trek schedule, and today they will drive from Kaza to Manali.
The 25th July batch is on the 6th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Phutsirang to Bwaldar via Bhaba Pass.
The 26th July batch is on the 5th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from kara to Phutsirang.
The 27th July batch is on the 4th day of their trek schedule, and today they will rest and acclimatise at Kara.
LEH - LADAKH EXPEDITION TREK
The Leh–Ladakh trekking region is experiencing partly cloudy weather today. However, the weather might change later on, and it might rain. So, we firmly advise you to stay updated on local forecasts.
Kang Yatse 1 Expedition
The weather at the Kang Yatse 1 Base Camp is partly cloudy and partly rainy today. Here's the latest update on the batches:
The 18th July batch is on the last day of their schedule, and today, they will move from Base Camp to Chokdo via Kongmaru La and drive to Leh.
Markha Valley Trek
The weather at the Markha Valley Trek is a little mixed. Sometimes it gets cloudy, and sometimes there are chances of rain too. As for the batch update --
The 25th July batch is on the 6th day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Hankar to Nimaling.
Kang Yatse 2 Peak Expedition
The weather at the Kang Yatse 2 Expedition Trek is a little mixed. Sometimes it gets cloudy, and sometimes there are chances of rain too. As for the batch update - -

Cloudy and rainy weather is manageable with the right preparation, albeit extra caution is needed in the Himalayas.
Before stepping out, it's always better to check the latest weather updates.
Pack appropriate rain gear, and ensure your equipment is suitable for wet terrain.
More importantly, follow your trek leader’s instructions earnestly, and avoid unnecessary risks.
Also, be prepared to delay or reschedule your trek.
