With the beginning of this season’s 1st batch of Valley of Flowers and Pin Bhaba, the weather has also taken a turn. In the Uttarakhand region the weather is all bright and sunny, while in the Himalayan region the weather is a little mixed as some regions are experiencing sunny weather and some are cloudy.

So, trekkers need to be prepared as mountain weather can shift anytime with temperatures to remain cool consistently. Waterproof clothing, rain covers for backpacks, trekking poles, and sturdy footwear with good grip are strongly recommended. While trekkers who are travelling to Uttarakhand, we firmly advise them to keep themselves hydrated and keep sunscreen with them to protect themselves from rays of sunlight.

UTTARAKHAND TREKS UPDATE

Valley of Flowers Trek

The weather at the Valley of flowers base camp (Pipalkoti) is sunny again. As for the batches:

• The 1st batch of Valley of Flowers began on 3rd July, and today they will move from Rishikesh to Pipalkoti.

HIMACHAL TREKS UPDATE

Hampta Pass Trek

The weather at the Hampta Pass base camp (Manali) is sunny again. As for the batches:

• The three batches of 29th June are on the 5th day of their trek schedule, and today they will drive from Chatru to Manali.
• The three batches of 30th June are on the 4th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Shea Goru to Chatru and drive to Chandratal.
• The 1st July batch is on the 3rd day, and today they will trek from Balu Ka Ghera to Shea Goru via Hampta Pass.
• The 2nd July batch is on its second day, and today, they will trek from Chhika to Balu Ka Ghera.

Pin Bhaba Trek

The weather at the Pin Bhaba Pass base camp (Kafnu) is cloudy again. As for the batches:

• A new batch of Pin Bhaba has begun on 3rd July, and today they will drive from Shimla to Kafnu.

Trekkers are definitely going to enjoy the season ahead. However, it is also advisable to closely follow the guidance of trek leaders, stay updated with local weather forecasts, and remain flexible.
