The weather across several Himalayan trekking routes has turned sunny and pleasant again, bringing much-needed relief after recent spells of rain and cloudy conditions. Clearer skies are creating better visibility and more comfortable daytime conditions for trekkers, with beautiful mountain views opening up along several routes.

Several Uttarakhand and Himachal routes are seeing improved conditions, although the weather remains variable at higher elevations. However, trekkers are advised to carry proper rain protection, waterproof trekking shoes, warm layers, and dry bags to protect essential belongings.

As per the latest reports, here’s how the weather looks today across the Himalayan trekking regions:

UTTARAKHAND TREKS UPDATE

Gaumukh Tapovan Trek

The weather at the Gaumukh Tapovan Trek base camp (Gangotri) is sunny today. As for the batches:

• The 26th Sept batch is returning from Gangotri to Dehradun.
• The 27th Sept batch is on the 3rd day, and today also they will stay at Gangotri.

Bali Pass Trek

The weather at the base camp of Bali Pass (Sankri) is sunny today . As for the batches:

• The 26th and 27th Sept batch have been stopped in the middle of their journey. Due to the prevailing weather conditions in high altitudes, all the trekkers are returning from Gangotri to Dehradun.

Panch Kedar Trek

The weather in the Panch Kedar trek region is sunny today . As for the batches:

• The batch of 20th Sept is on its 10th day, and today, they will stay at Badasu, Guptakashi.

Chopta Chandrashilla 5-Day Trek

The weather at the base camp of Chopta Chandrashilla 5-day trek (Sari) is sunny today . As for the batches:

• The batch of 26th Sept is on the 4th day of their trek schedule, and today, they will drive from Baniyakund to Chopta and trek to Tungnath and Chandrashila and return.

Har Ki Dun Trek
