TTh Trek Update: New Valley of Flowers Adventure Kicks Off Today
The weather across many Himalayan trekking destinations remains mostly cloudy today, with overcast skies prevailing in several regions. Brief clear spells may offer good mountain views, allowing trekkers to enjoy glimpses of the surrounding landscapes.
Trekkers should, however, remain prepared for rapidly changing mountain weather, especially during the afternoon and evening.
UTTARAKHAND TREKS UPDATE
Valley of Flowers Trek
The weather at the Valley of Flowers base camp (Pipalkoti) has turned cloudy today. As for the batches:
Two batches of 20th July are on the 6th (last) day of their schedule, and today they will drive from Pipalkoti to Rishikesh.
The two batches of 21th July are on the 5th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Ghangaria to Govindghat and Drive to Pipalkoti (Badrinath optional).
The batch of 24th July is on the 2nd day of its schedule, and today they will drive from Pipalkoti to Govindghat-Pulna and Trek to Ghangaria.
Two new batches to Valley of Flowers started on 25th July, and today, they will drive from Rishikesh to Pipalkoti.
HIMACHAL TREKS UPDATE
Hampta Pass Trek
The weather at the Hampta Pass base camp (Manali) is partly cloudy and partly sunny today. As for the batches:
The 21st July batch is on the 5th day of their trek schedule, and today they will drive from Chatru to Manali.
A new batch to Hampta Pass has started on 25th July, and today, they will drive from Manali to Jobra and Trek from Jobra to Chhika.
Pin Bhaba Trek
The weather at the Pin Bhaba Pass base camp (Kafnu) is sunny today as well. As for the batches:
The 18th July batch is on the 8th day of their trek schedule, and today they will drive from Kaza to Manali.
The 19th July batch is on the 7th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Bwaldar to Mudh and drive to Kaza.
The 20th July batch is on the 6th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Phutsirang to Bwaldar via Bhaba Pass.
The 23rd July batch is on its 3rd day of their trek schedule, and today, they will trek from Mulling to Kara.
A new batch to Pin Bhaba Pass has started on 25th July, and today, they will drive from Shimla to Kafnu.
Bhrigu Lake
The weather at the Bhrigu Lake base camp (Manali) is partly cloudy and partly sunny today. As for the batches:
A new batch to Bhirgu Lake has started on 25th July, and today, they will drive from Manali to Gulaba and Trek to Gulaba Meadows.
LEH - LADAKH EXPEDITION TREK
The Leh–Ladakh trekking region continues to experience cloudy weather, with a higher chance of rain, especially at higher elevations. Trekkers should expect brief weather fluctuations throughout the day and stay updated on local forecasts.
Kang Yatse 1 Expedition
The weather at the Kang Yatse 1 Base Camp is cloudy today, with a higher chance of rain. Here's the latest update on the batches:
The 18th July batch is on the 8th day of their schedule, and today is a Rest and Training day.
Dzo Jongo East Peak Expedition
The weather at the Dzo Jongo East Peak Expedition base camp is also cloudy, and there are good chances of rain. As for the batches:

Cloudy and rainy weather is manageable with the right preparation, albeit extra caution is needed in the Himalayas.

More importantly, follow your trek leader’s instructions earnestly, and avoid unnecessary risks.
