Trekking routes are looking inviting, and the sunny conditions are providing excellent opportunities for photography and sightseeing. Trekkers should still be prepared for quick changes in mountain weather, particularly at higher elevations, where temperatures can fall rapidly after sunset.

As per the latest reports, here’s how the weather looks today across the Himalayan trekking regions:

Gaumukh Tapovan Trek

The weather at the Gaumukh Tapovan Trek base camp (Gangotri) is sunny today. As for the batches:

• The 19th Sept batch is on the 7th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Bhojwasa To Gangotri.

Bali Pass Trek

The weather at the base camp of Bali Pass, Sankri, is sunny today . As for the batches:

• The 19th Sept batch is on the 7th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Bali Col Camp to Lower Dhamni via Bali Pass.

Panch Kedar Trek

The weather in the Panch Kedar trek region is sunny today . As for the batches:

• The batch of 20th Sept is on its 6th day, and today, they will trek from Chopta to Tungnath Temple and back to Chopta (Optional hike to Chandrashila).

HIMACHAL TREKS UPDATE

Hampta Pass Trek

The weather at the Hampta Pass base camp (Manali) is sunny today. As for the batches:

• The two batches of 21 Sept are on the 5th day, and today, they will drive from Chatru to Manali.
• Two new batches have started on 25th Sept, and today, they will drive from Manali to Jobra and Trek from Jobra to Chhika.

Buran Ghati Trek

The weather at the base camp (Janglik) is sunny today. As for the batches:

• The 19th Sept batch is on the 7th day of their trek schedule, and today, they will trek from Munirang to Barua village & drive to Shimla.
• The batch of 20th Sept is on its 6th day, and today, they will trek from Dhunda to Munirang (River camp) via Buran Ghati Pass.

Rupin Pass Trek

The weather at Rupin Pass base camp (Bawta) continues to be sunny. As for the batches:

• The two batches of 20th Sept are on their 6th day, and today, they will trek from Upper Waterfall to Ronti Gad via Rupin Pass.
• The 21st Sept batch is on its 5th day, and today, they will trek from Dandreyash Thatch to Upper Waterfall.
• The batch of 24th Sept is on its 2nd day, and today, they will trek from Bawta to Jakha.
• A new batch has started on 25th Sept, and today, they will arrive in Bawta.

LEH - LADAKH EXPEDITION TREK

The weather across the Leh-Ladakh trekking routes continues to experience clear sky conditions with no sign of rain.

As for the batches, here’s today’s update:

• The 19th September Markha Valley Trek batch departed from Nimaling to Chokdo via Kongmaru La and drive to Leh.

The overall conditions are typical of this season. From prime monsoon to transition phase, the weather is behaving as per the expected lines. And teams are continuing their planned movements.
