24th March Weather Update: All the trekking regions are experiencing Sunny Weather

The Himalayas are once again experiencing constant change in the weather conditions. After remaining all cloudy or rainy throughout the week, today all the trekking regions are experiencing all bright and sunny weather.

So, trekkers can carry gear and clothing according to the sunny weather. Just don’t forget to carry sunscreen to protect yourself from the bright rays of sunlight.

Right now, all the batches are going quite smoothly without encountering any problems. Just make sure to keep yourself updated with local weather forecasts, as conditions tend to change quickly. Other than that, if there are any changes, we will keep you updated.

INDIA TREKS UPDATE

  • Uttarakhand Treks

Kuari Pass Trek

The weather in the Kuari Pass base camp (Pipalkoti) has turned once again, and trekkers are experiencing sunny weather today. As for the batch update -

  • The 21st March batch is on the 4th day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Tali Forest Camp to Kuari Pass and back via Khullara Top.
  • The 22nd March batch is on the 3rd day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Gulling Top to Tali Forest Camp.
  • The 23rd March batch is on the 2nd day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Pipalkoti to Gulling Top.

Chopta Chandrashila Trek

Today, the weather in the Chopta base camp (Sari) has changed, and once again it’s all sunny there now. As for the batch updates -

  • The 20th March batch is on the 5th day of their trek schedule, and today they will drive back to Rishikesh.
  • The 21st March batch is on the 4th day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Baniyakund to Chopta (drive) and trek to Tungnath and Chandrashila and return.
  • The 22nd March batch is on the 3rd day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Deoria Tal to Tala Village and drive to Baniyakund.
  • The 23rd March batch is on the 2nd day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Sari to Alpine Lake Deoria Tal.

Chopta Chandrashila 3 Day Trek

The weather at the Chopta Chandrashila 3 day camp (Baniyakund) has also turned sunny today. As for the batch update -

  • A new batch of the Chopta Chandrashila 3-day trek began on 24th March, and today they will move from Rishikesh to Baniyakund.

Brahmatal Trek

The weather at the Brahmatal trek base camp (Lohajung) has also turned sunny today. As for the batch update—

  • The 20th March batch is on the 5th day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Brahmatal to Lohajung.
  • The 23rd March batch is on the 2nd day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Lohajung to Gujreni.

Pangarchulla Trek

The weather in Pipalkoti, the base camp of the Pangarchulla trek, is all sunny today. As for the trek updates:

  • The two batches of 21st March are on the 4th day of their trek, and today they will trek from Khullara to Kuari Pass via Khullara Top and back to Khullara.
  • The two batches of 22nd March are on the 3rd day of their trek, and today they will trek from Gulling Top to Khullara.
  • The 23rd March batch is on the 2nd day of their trek, and today they will drive from Pipalkoti to Tugasi Village and trek to Gulling Top.

Dayara Bugyal Trek

The weather at the Dayara Bugyal trek base camp (Natin) has also turned sunny today. As for the batch update -

  • The 21st March batch is on the 4th day of their trek, and today they will move from Chilapada to Dayara Top and Trek to Nayata.
  • The 22nd March batch is on the 3rd day of their trek, and today they will move from Gui to Chilapada.
  • The 23rd March batch is on the 2nd day of their trek, and today they will move from Natin to Gui.

Goechala Trek

The weather at the Goechala base camp (Yuksom) has also turned sunny today. As for the batch update -

  • The 21st March batch is on the 4th day of their trek, and today they will move from Tshokha to Dzingri via Phedang.
  • The 22nd March batch is on the 3rd day of their trek, and today they will move from Sachen to Tshokha via Bakhim.

Har Ki Dun Trek

The weather at the Har Ki Dun base camp (Sankri) has also turned sunny today. As for the batch update -

  • The 22nd March batch is on the 3rd day of their trek, and today they will move from Osla to Seematra.

Kedarkantha Trek

The weather at the Kedarkantha base camp (Sankari) has also turned sunny today. As for the batch update -

  • The 22nd March batch is on the 3rd day of their trek, and today they will move from Juda-Ka-Talab to Kedarkantha Base.

Ranthan Kharak Trek

The weather at the Ranthan Kharak base camp (Kathgodam) has also turned sunny today. As for the batch update -

  • The 22nd March batch is on the 3rd day of their trek, and today they will trek from Namik to Bajimanian Kharak.
  • North-East Trek

Sandakphu Trek

The weather at Sepi, Sandakphu Base Camp, has also changed, and it’s all sunny there today. As for the batch updates -

  • The 22nd March batch is on the 3rd day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Samanden to Phalut via Gorkhey.

Everest Base Camp Trek

The weather at the Everest Base Camp is all sunny today. As for the batch updates -

  • The 14th March batch is on the 11th day of their trek, and today they will trek from Pangboche to Namche Bazaar.
  • The 15th March batch is on the 10th day of their trek, and today they will hike to Kalapatthar and the retreat trek to Pangboche.
  • The 16th March batch is on the 9th day of their trek, and today they will trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep.

With all the mixed weather happening in all the trekking regions, trekkers might have to face changes in the weather conditions quite frequently. Although for now, all the batches are going quite smoothly, we firmly advise you to keep yourself prepared to face all the challenges.
