TTh Trek Update: New Valley of Flowers Adventure Kicks Off Today
After a few days of overcast and rainy conditions, the weather across many Himalayan trekking destinations has turned sunny today. Clear skies after rain mean improved mountain visibility. So, trekkers are going to witness spectacular panoramic views and favorable trail conditions. Certain isolated areas may still remain damp from the recent rainfall.
Trekkers should, however, remain prepared for rapidly changing mountain weather, especially during the afternoon and evening.
UTTARAKHAND TREKS UPDATE
Valley of Flowers Trek
The weather at the Valley of Flowers base camp (Pipalkoti) has turned sunny today. As for the batches:
Two batches of 19th July are on the 6th (last) day of their schedule, and today they will drive from Pipalkoti to Rishikesh.
The two batches of 20th July are on the 5th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Ghangaria to Govindghat and Drive to Pipalkoti (Badrinath optional).
Two new batches of 21st July are on the 4th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib and back to Ghangaria.
A new batch to Valley of Flowers has started on 24th July, and today, they will drive from Rishikesh to Pipalkoti.
HIMACHAL TREKS UPDATE
Hampta Pass Trek
The weather at the Hampta Pass base camp (Manali) is partly cloudy and partly sunny today. As for the batches:
The 20th July batch is on the 5th day of their trek schedule, and today they will drive from Chatru to Manali.
The 21st July batch is on the 4th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Shea Goru to Chatru and drive to Chandratal.
Pin Bhaba Trek
The weather at the Pin Bhaba Pass base camp (Kafnu) is sunny today as well. As for the batches:
The 17th July batch is on the 8th day of their trek schedule, and today they will drive from Kaza to Manali.
The 18th July batch is on the 7th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Bwaldar to Mudh and drive to Kaza.
The 19th July batch is on the 6th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Phutsirang to Bwaldar via Bhaba Pass.
The 20th July batch is on the 5th day of their trek schedule, and today, they will move from Kara to Phutsirang.
The 23rd July batch is on its second day, and today, they will trek from Kafnu to Mulling.
LEH - LADAKH EXPEDITION TREK
The Leh Ladakh trekking region continues to experience cloudy weather with overcast conditions. Occasional light rain showers are expected in some areas, especially at higher elevations. Trekkers should expect brief weather fluctuations throughout the day and stay updated on local forecasts.
Kang Yatse 1 Expedition
The weather at the Kang Yatse 1 Base Camp is cloudy today as well. As for the batches:
The 18th July batch is on the 7th day of their schedule, and today they will trek from Nimaling to Base Camp.
Dzo Jongo East Peak Expedition
The weather at the Dzo Jongo East Peak Expedition base camp is cloudy, and there are good chances of rain. As for the batches:
The 18th July batch is on the 7th day of their schedule, and today they will trek from Nimaling to Dzo Jongo East Base Camp.
Markha Valley Trek
The weather at the Markha Valley base camp (Leh) continues to be cloudy today. As for the batches:
The 18th July batch is on the 7th (last) day of their schedule, and today they will move from Nimaling to Chokdo via Kongmaru La and drive to Leh.

Cloudy and rainy weather is manageable with the right preparation, albeit extra caution is needed in the Himalayas.
