TTH Trek Update: Fresh Batches Set Out to Experience the Pleasant Monsoon of the Himalayas.
The effect of cheerful monsoon conditions is clearly reflected in the weather, which is currently experiencing sunny spells with cloudy skies and occasional rain showers. In Uttarakhand and Himachal, many trekking batches are continuing as scheduled, with conditions remaining manageable on many popular routes.
The Valley of Flowers trek remains particularly attractive during this season, but even then, trekkers should be prepared for rapidly changing mountain conditions. Trekking teams are progressing, but monsoon-related weather can change quickly, especially at higher elevations.
As per the latest reports, here’s how the weather looks today across the Himalayan trekking regions:
UTTARAKHAND TREKS UPDATE
Valley of Flowers Trek
The weather at the Valley of Flowers base camp (Pipalkoti) is cloudy today. As for the batches:
The 17th August batch is on the 6th day of their schedule, and today they will drive from Pipalkoti to Rishikesh.
The 18th of August batch is on the 5th day, and today they will trek from Ghangaria to Govindghat and Drive to Pipalkoti (Badrinath optional).
The batch of 19th August is on its 4th day, and today, they will trek from Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib and back to Ghangaria.
The batch of 20th August is on its 3rd day, and today, they will trek from Ghangaria to Valley of Flower and back to Ghangaria.
A new batch has started to Valley of Flowers on 22nd August, and today, they will drive from Rishikesh to Pipalkoti.
HIMACHAL TREKS UPDATE
Hampta Pass Trek
The weather at the Hampta Pass base camp (Manali) continues to be sunny today. As for the batches:
The 21st August 17th batch is on the second day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Chhika to Balu Ka Ghera
A new batch has set off to Hampta Pass on 22nd August, and today, they will drive from Manali to Jobra and Trek from Jobra to Chhika.
Pin Bhaba Trek
The weather at the Pin Bhaba Pass base camp (Kafnu) is a mix of sunny and cloudy today. For a few days, it’s been fluctuating between sunshine and cloud cover. As for the batches:
The 15th August batch is on the 8th day of their trek schedule, and today they will drive from Kaza to Manali.
The 16th August batch is on the 7th day of their trek schedule, and today, they will trek from Bwaldar to Mudh and Drive to Kaza.
The 17th August batch is on the 6th day of their trek schedule, and today is their Trek from Phutsirang to Bwaldar via Bhaba Pass.
A new batch has set off to Pin Bhaba Pass on 22nd August, and today, they will drive from Shimla to Kafnu.
Pin Parvati Trek
The weather at the Pin Parvati base camp (Manali) is sunny today. As for the batches:
The 15th August batch is on the 8th day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Summit Camp to Pin Parvati Pass to Pin Base/ Bedu Thatch.
Bhrigu Lake Trek
The weather at Gulaba, the base camp of Bhrigu Lake trek, is cloudy. As for the batches:
A new batch has started to Bhrigu Lake on 22nd August, and today, they will drive from Manali to Gulaba and trek to Gulaba Meadows.
LEH - LADAKH EXPEDITION TREK
The weather across the Leh-Ladakh trekking route has clear blue skies, particularly in the Markha Valley region.

Kang Yatse 2 Peak Expedition - Private Batch
The weather in the Markha Valley continues to offer clear blue skies, while at the Kang Yatse 2 Peak Expedition base camp, it is cloudy. As for the batch update:
The 15th August batch with 15 climbers is on the 8th day of their trek schedule, and today is the rest and training day at the Base Camp.
TANZANIA AFRICA UPDATE (Overseas Trek)
Across the Kilimanjaro trekking route, trekkers continue their journey today as the trek progresses smoothly.
Mount Kilimanjaro Trek
The weather on the Kilimanjaro trek is partly sunny and cloudy today. As for the batch update:
The 16th August batch is on the 7th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Barafu Camp to Summit to Uhuru Peak and trek back to Barafu then to Millennium Camp.
