The weather across all the Himalayan trekking base camps has taken a complete U-turn, and in the past few days the weather had turned all cloudy in some areas it even drizzled a bit and had little bit of snowfall too. But today, the weather has once again turned all bright and sunny.

While conditions remain manageable across the trekking routes, and batches are running quite smoothly. Trekkers are advised to stay updated on the latest weather conditions and remain prepared for any changes along the route.

Here’s the latest report on the weather conditions across the Himalayan trekking regions:

UTTARAKHAND TREKS UPDATE

Kuari Pass Trek

The weather at the Kuari Pass base camp (Pipalkoti) has changed and turned all bright and sunny there. As for the batches:

• The 30th October batch is on the 4th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Tali Forest Camp to Kuari Pass and back to Khullara Top.
• The 31st October batch is on the 3rd day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Gulling Top to Tali Forest Camp.
• A new batch of Kuari Pass began on 2nd November, and today they will move from Rishikesh to Pipalkoti.

Har Ki Dun Trek

The weather at Har Ki Dun base camp, Sankri is sunny today. As for the batches:

• The 31st October batch is on the 3rd day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Osla to Seematra.
• The 1st November batch is on the 2nd day of their trek schedule, and today they will drive from Sankri to Dharkot and trek to Osla Village.

Dayara Bugyal Trek

The weather at the base camp of Dayara Bugyal (Natin Village) is sunny today. As for the batches:

• The 31st October batch is on the 3rd day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Gui to Upper Chilapada.
• The 1st November batch is on the 2nd day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Natin to Gui.

Chopta 3 Day Trek

The weather at the base camp of Chopta 3 day trek (Baniyakund) is sunny today. As for batches:

• The 31st October batch is on the 3rd (last) day of their trek schedule, and today they will drive back to Rishikesh.

Chopta Chandrashila Day Trek

The weather at the base camp of Chopta Chandrashila day trek (Sari Village) is sunny today. As for batches:

• The 31st October batch is on the 3rd day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Deoria Tal to Tala Village and drive to Baniyakund.
• The 1st November batch is on the 2nd day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Sari to Deoriatal.

NORTHEAST TREKS UPDATE

Sandakphu Trek

The weather at the base camp of Sandakphu (Sepi) has changed and it’s sunny there today. As for batches:

• The 30th October batch is on the 4th day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Phalut to Thokum.
• The 31st October batch is on the 3rd day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Samanden to Phalut via Gorkhey.
• The 1st November batch is on the 2nd day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Sepi to Samanden via Ramam.
• A new batch of Sandakphu has begun on 2nd November, and today they will drive from NJP to Sepi.

Goechala Trek

The weather at the base camp of Goechala (Yuksom) is mixed. Sometimes it gets sunny and sometimes cloudy. As for the batches:

• The 23rd October batch is on the 11th (last) day of their trek schedule, and today they will drive from Yuksom to NJP.
• The 30th October batch is on the 4th day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Tshokha to Dzongri via Phedang.
• The 31st October batch is on the 3rd day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Sachen to Tshokha via Bakhim.

NEPAL TREKS UPDATE

Everest Base Camp Trek

The weather at the base camp of EBC (Kathmandu) has taken quite a turn, and now all the trekkers are experiencing bright and sunny weather today. As for the batches:

• The 24th October batch is on the 10th day of their trek schedule, and today they will hike to Kalapatthar and then they will do a retreat trek to Pangboche.

Everest Base Camp via Gokyo Ri Trek

The weather at the base camp of the EBC region (Kathmandu) has taken quite a turn, and now all the trekkers are experiencing bright and sunny weather today. As for the batches:

• The 18th October batch of EBC is on the 16th day of their trek schedule, and today they will have a flight from Lukla to Ramechhap and drive to Kathmandu.
• The 24th October batch is on the 10th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Dragnag (Thaknak) - Cho La - Dzongla.

Annapurna Circuit Trek

The weather at the base camp of Annapurna Base Camp (Kathmandu) has taken quite a turn, and now all the trekkers are experiencing bright and sunny weather today. As for the batches:

• The 24th October batch is on the 10th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Sirikharka to Yak Kharka.

Although, all the trekking regions are experiencing bright and sunny weather. We will still advise all the trekkers to stay updated on local conditions and remain prepared for any changes in the mountain weather.

• Cloudy and rainy weather is manageable with the right preparation, albeit extra caution is needed in the Himalayas.

• Pack appropriate rain gear, and ensure your equipment is suitable for wet terrain.
• More importantly, follow your trek leader’s instructions earnestly, and avoid unnecessary risks.
• Also, be prepared to delay or reschedule your trek.
