TTH Trek Update: New Batch of Valley of Flowers Sets Off to Enjoy the Himalayan Monsoon
August continues to be a typical monsoon month across the Himalayas. Today, most of the trekking regions are experiencing cloudy skies, occasional rainfall, sunshine, mist, and humidity. Weather can change quickly at higher elevations. Current conditions in the Himalayas remain mixed, with periods of rain affecting both Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
On the trails, trekkers should expect wet, muddy, and slippery sections, particularly in forested and lower-altitude areas. Continuous rainfall can increase the risk of landslides, falling rocks, swollen streams, and temporary route or road disruptions.
