From the last few days the weather in all the trekking regions has been quite bright and sunny. Apart from that, a lot of trekkers have begun their journey today to do the trekking in the mountain area.

As we told you all earlier, the weather in the mountains tends to take dramatic changes on a daily basis. So, this is our firm advice to you all: keep an eye out on the weather, and stay prepared in advance.

Also, all the batches of Rupin Pass are moving till Upper Waterfall and from there they all directly coming down. This step has been taken because the crossing of the Rupin Pass has been closed for safety measures of the trekkers.

Apart from that, here is the latest reports on, how the weather looks today across the Himalayan trekking regions:

UTTARAKHAND TREKS UPDATE

Kuari Pass Trek

The weather at the Kuari Pass base camp (Pipalkoti) is sunny today. As for the batches:

• The 17th October batch is on the 2nd day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Pipalkoti to Gulling Top.
• A new Kuari Pass trek began on 18th October, and today they will move from Rishikesh to Pipalkoti.

Chopta Chandrashila Tungnath Trek

The weather at the base camp Sari Village is sunny today. As for the batches:

• The 17th October batch is on the 2nd day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Sari to Deoriatal.
• A new batch of Chopta Chandrashila trek began on 18th October, and today they will move from Rishikesh to Sari Village.

Chopta Chandrashila 3 Day Trek

The weather at the base camp Baniyakund is sunny today. As for the batches:

• The 17th October batch is on the 2nd day of their trek schedule, and today they will drive from Baniyakund to Chopta and trek to Tungnath and Chandrashila and then return.
• A new batch of Chopta Chandrashila 3 day trek began on 18th October, and today they will move from Rishikesh to Baniyakund.

Nag Tibba Weekend Trek

The weather at the Nag Tibba trek, Pantwari is bright and sunny today. As for the batches:

• The 17th October batch is on the last day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Camp 1 to Nag Tibba and return to Pantwari village and drive to Dehradun.

Phulara Ridge Trek

The weather at the Phulara trek, Sankri is bright and sunny today. As for the batches:

• The 17th October batch is on the 2nd day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Sankri to Juda-Ka-Talab.

Har Ki Dun Trek

The weather at Har Ki Dun base camp, Sankri, is sunny today. As for the batches:

• The 17th October batch is on the 2nd day of their trek schedule, and today they will drive from Sankri to Dharkot and trek to Osla village.
• A new batch of Har Ki Dun trek began on 17th October, and today they will drive from Dehradun to Sankri.

Bali Pass Trek

The weather at the base camp of Bali Pass, Sankri is sunny today. As for the batches:

• The batch of 11th October is on its last day, and today, they will trek from Lower Dhamni to Janki Chatti and drive to Dehradun.

Dayara Bugyal Trek

The weather at the base camp of Dayara Bugyal (Natin) is sunny today. As for batches:

• Two new batches of the Dayara Bugyal trek began on 18th October, and today they will drive from Dehradun to Natin Village.

Ali Bedni Bugyal Trek

The weather at the base camp of Ali Bedni Bugyal (Lohajung) is sunny today. As for batches:

• A new batch of the Ali Bedni Bugyal trek began on 18th October, and today they will move from Rishikesh to Lohajung.

Surya Top Trek

The weather at the base camp of Surya Top (Natin village) is sunny today. As for batches:

HIMACHAL TREKS UPDATE

Buran Ghati Trek

The weather at the base camp (Janglik) is sunny today. As for the batches:

• The batch of 12th October is on the last day of their trek schedule, and today, they will move from Munirang to Barua Village and then drive to Shimla.
• The batch of 13th October is on the 6th day of their trek schedule, and today, they will move from Dhunda to Munirang (river camp) via Buran Ghati Pass.

Rupin Pass Trek

The weather at Rupin Pass base camp (Bawta) is sunny today. As for the batches:

• The batch of 12th October did go to the Upper Waterfall area, but from that point they had to return. And today the batch is successfully coming to Shimla from Bawta.

NORTHEAST TREKS UPDATE

Sandakphu Trek

The weather at the base camp of Sandakphu (Sepi) is cloudy today. As for batches:

• The 17th October batch is on the 2nd day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Sepi to Samanden via Ramam.
• A new batch of the Sandakphu trek began on 18th October, and today they will drive from NJP to Sepi.

Goechala Trek

The weather at the base camp of Goechala (Yuksom) is cloudy today. As for the batches:

• The batch of 9th October is on the 10th day of their trek schedule, and today, they will move from Tshokha to Yuksom via Bakhim and Sachen.
• The 17th October batch is on the 2nd day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Yuksom to Sachen.
• A new batch of Goechala trek began on 18th October, and today they will drive from New Jalpaiguri to Yuksom.

NEPAL TREKS UPDATE

Everest Base Camp via Gokyo Ri Trek

The weather in and around the EBC region is all cloudy. As for the batches:

• The 3rd October batch is on the 16th day of their trek schedule, and today, they will have a flight from Lukla to Ramchhap and drive to Kathmandu.

Finally, the bright rays of sunshine are shaping various conditions across different regions, but we will still advise all the trekkers to stay on high alert, when it comes to the mountain weather.

• Cloudy and rainy weather is manageable with the right preparation, albeit extra caution is needed in the Himalayas.
• Before stepping out, it's always better to check the latest weather updates.
• Pack appropriate rain gear, and ensure your equipment is suitable for wet terrain.
• More importantly, follow your trek leader’s instructions earnestly, and avoid unnecessary risks.
• Also, be prepared to delay or reschedule your trek.
