The weather in the mountain region has been quite clear for a while, but you never know in the Himalayas, snowfall might happen anytime soon. So, being prepared before their trek is essential for every trekker.

INDIA TREKS UPDATE

• Uttarakhand Treks

Winter Kuari Pass Trek

The weather in Kuari Pass is all bright and clear today. Apart from that, new winter treks have started—

• The 12th January batch is on the last day of their schedule, and today they will move from Pipalkoti to Rishikesh.
• The 15th January batch is on day 3 of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Gulling Top to Tali Forest Camp.
• A new batch of Kuari Pass has started on 17th January, and today they will depart from Rishikesh to Pipalkoti.

Chopta Chandrashila with Deoriatal (5 Days)

The weather in Sari, on the Chopta Chandrashila Trek, is all clear for now. As for the batch update -

• The 15th January batch is on day 3 of their schedule, and today they will move from Deoria Tal to Tala Village and Drive to Baniyakund.

Chopta Chandrashila 3 Days Trek

The weather in Baniyakund is clear currently. As for the batch update -

• The 15th January 3-day Chopta Chandrashila batch is on the last day of their schedule, and today they will drive back to Rishikesh.

Chopta Chaandrashila 4 Days (Customize Trek)

A new customized batch of Chopta Chadrashila has begun on 16th January. It’s a 4-day trek, and currently, all the trekkers will move from Deoria Tal to Tala Village and drive to Baniyakund.

Dayara Bugyal Trek

The weather conditions on the Dayara Bugyal trek are all clear. As for the batch update -

• The 14th January batch is on day 4 of their trek, and today they will move from Chilapada to Dayara Top and Trek to Nayata.

Kedarkantha Trek

The Kedarkantha Trek is experiencing clear weather throughout from the base camp, Sankri, to the summit. Regarding the batches—

• The 16th January batch is on the day 2 schedule of their trek, and today they will move from Sankri to Juda-Ka-Talab.

Brahmatal Trek

The weather in the Brahmatal Trek region is bright and clear now. As for the batch update -

• The 16th January batch is on the day 2 of their schedule, and today they will move from Lohajung to Gujreni.
• A new batch of Brahmatal has begun on 17th January, and today they will depart from Rishikesh and arrive at Lohajung via drive.

• North East Treks

Sandakphu Trek

The weather in Sepi, the base camp of the Sandakphu Trek, is currently clear. As for the batch update—

• The 11th January batch of Sandakphu is on the last day of their schedule, and today they will move from Timburey to Srikhola and drive to NJP.

SOUTH AFRICA TREK UPDATE

• Tanzania - Mount Kilimanjaro Trek

The weather in Moshi is currently all clear, allowing trekkers to enjoy their trekking journey without any hurdles. Now, as for their trek update-

• Currently, the 11th January batch is on day 7 of the schedule, and today they will move from Barafu Camp to Summit to Uhuru Peak and trek back to Barafu then to Millennium Camp.
