Yesterday every region in the mountains was experiencing completely cloudy weather. But, today? The weather has once again taken a U-turn and has turned all bright and sunny. As we told you all earlier, the weather in the mountains tends to take dramatic changes on a daily basis.

So, this is our firm advice to you all: keep an eye out on the weather, and stay prepared in advance.

Also, all the batches of Rupin Pass are moving till Upper Waterfall and from there they all directly coming down. This step has been taken because the crossing of the Rupin Pass has been closed for safety measures of the trekkers.

UTTARAKHAND TREKS UPDATE

Kuari Pass Trek

The weather at the base camp of Kuari Pass (Pipalkoti) is sunny today. As for the batches:

• The 12th October batch is on the 5th day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Tali Forest Camp - Pipalkoti via Gurson Bugyal and Auli.

Dayra Bugyal Trek

The weather at the base camp, Natin is sunny today. As for the batches:

• The 12th October batch is on the last day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Nayata to Natin Village and drive to Dehradun.

Satopant Lake Trek

The weather at the Satopant Lake trek, Badrinath is bright and sunny today. As for the batches:

• The batch of 11th October is on the 6th day of their trek schedule, and they will move from Chakrateertha to Lakshmi Van.

Har Ki Dun Trek

The weather at the base camp, Sankri, is sunny today. As for the batches:

• The batch of 10th October is on the last day of their trek schedule, and today, they will drive from Sankri to Dehradun.

Bali Pass Trek

The weather at the base camp of Bali Pass, Sankri is sunny today. As for the batches:

• The batch of 9th October is on its last day, and today, they will move from Lower Dhamni to Janki Chatti and drive to Dehradun.
• The batch of 11th October is on its 6th day, and today, they will trek from Odari to Bali Col Camp.

HIMACHAL TREKS UPDATE

Buran Ghati Trek

The weather at the base camp (Janglik) is sunny today. As for the batches:

• The batch of 10th October is on the last day of their trek schedule, and today, they will move from Munirang to Barua Village and then drive to Shimla.
• The batch of 11th October is on the 6th day of their trek schedule, and today, they will move from Dhunda to Munirang (river camp) via Buran Ghati Pass.
• The batch of 12th October is on the 5th day of their trek schedule, and today, they will move from Litham to Dhunda.
• The 13th October batch is on the 4th day of their trek schedule, and today they will have an acclimatisation day, and then they will visit Chandranahan Lake.

Rupin Pass Trek

The weather at Rupin Pass base camp (Bawta) is sunny today. As for the batches:

• The batch of 10th October did go to the Upper Waterfall area, but from that point they had to return. And today the batch is successfully coming to Shimla from Bawta.
• The batch of 11th October also went to Upper Waterfall, and today they are also coming back to Jakha from Upperwaterfall.
• The batch of 12th October is on the 5th day of their trek schedule, and today, they will trek from Dandreyash Thatch to Upper Waterfall.

NORTHEAST TREKS UPDATE

Sandakphu Trek

The weather at the base camp of Sandakphu (Sepi) is cloudy today. As for batches:

• The batch of 10th October is on the last day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Timburey to Srikhola and drive to NJP via Sepi.

Goechala Trek

The weather at the base camp of Goechala (Yuksom) is cloudy today. As for the batches:

• The batch of 9th October is on the 8th day of their trek schedule, and today, they will move from Lamuney to Goechala via Samiti Lake back to Thansing/Kokchhurung.

Everest Base Camp Trek

• The 3rd and 4th October batches are moving together. Today, they will trek from Namche Bazaar to Phakding to Lukla.

Everest Base Camp via Gokyo Ri Trek

The weather in and around the EBC region is all cloudy. As for the batches:

• The 3rd October batch is on the 14th day of their trek schedule, and today, they will trek from Pangboche to Namche Bazaar.

Annapurna Circuit Trek

The weather in and around the ABC region is cloudy. As for the batches:

• The 3rd October batch is on the 14th day of their trek schedule, and today they will fly back to Pokhara - Kathmandu.

Manaslu Circuit Trek

The weather at the base camp, Kathmandu, is cloudy. As for the batches:

• The 3rd October batch is on the last day of their trek schedule, and today, they will fly back home.

• More importantly, follow your trek leader’s instructions earnestly, and avoid unnecessary risks.
• Also, be prepared to delay or reschedule your trek.
