Trekking conditions across the Himalayan region continue to keep changing constantly. Somewhere it’s cloudy, and in some places it’s sunny. But even after all the constant changes in the weather, all the treks are running very smoothly.

But still, it’s our firm advice is to make sure you are properly equipped for your trekking adventure or trip. Other than that, a lot of new batches have begun in the past few days, and today, new batches of the Rupin Pass and Buran Ghati trek have also begun.

You can monitor our local updates for sudden weather changes, especially in higher altitudes. So, exercise caution on steep and rocky sections.

• Uttarakhand Treks

Dayara Bugyal Trek- Summer Camp Batch

The weather at the Dayara Bugyal summer camp, which is Natin, is all sunny. As for their batch update -

• The 1st Batch of Dayara Bugyal Summer Camp was started on 9th May, and today they are on the 5th day of their schedule, meaning today is their summit day to Dayara Top, and then they will trek to Nayata.

Chopta Chandrashila Tungnath Trek with Deoriatal

Today, the weather in the Chopta base camp (Sari) has changed, and it’s cloudy there today. As for the batches -

• The 9th May batch is on the 4th day of their schedule, and today they will drive back to Rishikesh.
• The 10th May batch is on the 4th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Baniyakund to Chopta and trek to Tungnath and Chandrashila and return.

Chopta Chandrashila 3-day Trek

Today, the weather in the Chopta 3-day trek base camp (Baniyakund) has changed, and it’s cloudy there today. As for the batches -

• The 12th May batch of Chopta 3-day is on the 2nd day of their schedule, and they will move from Baniyakund to Chopta and trek to Tungnath and Chandrashila and return.

Har Ki Dun Trek

The weather at the Har Ki Dun base camp (Sankari) is sunny today as well. As for the batch update-

• The 9th May batch is on the 5th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Seematra to Pauni Gharat.

Dayara Bugyal Trek

The weather at the Dayara Bugyal Trek base camp (Natin) is all sunny today. As for the batch update -

• The two batches of 9th May are on the last day of their schedule, and today they will move from Nayata to Natin village and drive to Dehradun.
• The 10th May batch is on the 4th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Chilapada to Dayara Top and trek to Nayata.

Kuari Pass Trek

The weather at the Kuari Pass base camp (Pipalkoti) is all sunny. As for the batch update -

• The 9th May batch is on the 5th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Tali Forest Camp - Pipalkoti via Gurson bugyal and Auli.
• The 10th May batch is on the 4th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Tali Forest Camp to Kuari Pass and back via Khullara Top.

Gaumukh Tapovan Trek

The weather at the base camp in Gangotri is sunny today. As for the batches:

• The 9th May batch is on the 5th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Chirabasa to Bhojwasa.
• The two batches of 10th May are on the 4th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Chirabasa to Bhojwasa.
• The 11th May batch is on the 3rd day of their schedule, and today they will move from Gangotri to Chirabasa.

Ranthan Kharak Trek

The weather at the Ranthan Kharak base camp (Gogina) has changed, and it’s cloudy there today. As for the batch update—

• The 10th May batch is on the 4th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Bajimanian Kharak to Ranthan Top and back to Bajimanian.

Bali Pass Trek

The weather at the Bali Pass base camp (Sankari) is all sunny today. As for the batch update—

• The 7th May batch is on the 7th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Bali Col Camp to Lower Dhamni via Bali Pass.
• The 8th May batch is on the 6th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Odari to Bali Col Camp.
• The 9th May batch is on the 5th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Ruinsara Tal to Odari.
• The 10th May batch is on the 4th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Devsu Bugyal to Ruisara Tal.

Surya Top Trek

The weather at the Surya Top Trek base camp (Natin) is all sunny today. As for the batch update -

• The 10th May batch is on the 4th day of their trek schedule, and today they will Siyari Bugyal to Devkund via Surya Top.

• Himachal Treks

Sar Pass Trek

The weather at the Sar Pass base camp (Kasol) has also changed, and it’s all sunny there today. As for the batches:

• The 9th May batch is on the 5th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Biskeri Thach to Pulga and drive back to Kasol.
• The 10th May batch is on the 4th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Nagaru to Biskeri Thach via Sar Pass.

Rupin Pass Trek

The weather at the Rupin Pass Trek base camp (Bawta) is all sunny today. As for the batch update -

• The 9th May batch is on the 5th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Dandreyash Thatch to Upper Waterfall.
• The two batches of 10th May are on the 4th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Saruwas Thatch to Dandreyash Thatch.
• A new batch of Rupin Pass has begun on 13th May, and today they will arrive in Bawta.

Bhrigu Lake Trek

The weather at the Bhrigu Lake Trek base camp (Gulaba) is all sunny today. As for the batch update -

• The 10th May batch is on the 4th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Rola Kholi to Gulaba trek to drive to Manali.

Buran Ghati Trek

The weather in Janglik, the base camp of the Buran Ghati trek, is all sunny today. As for the trek updates:

• The 9th May batch is on the 5th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Litham to Dhunda.
• The two batches of 10th May are on the 4th day of their schedule, and today they will have an acclimatization day and will visit Chandranahan Lake.
• The 11th May is on the 3rd day of their schedule, and today they will trek from Dayara Thatch to Litham.
• A new batch of Buran Ghati has begun on 13th May, and today they will move from Shimla to Janglik.

• North-East Trek

Goechala Trek

The weather at the Goechala base camp (Yuksom) is all cloudy today. And currently, there is no ongoing batch of Goechala.

Overall, the conditions in the Himalayan treks today are quite mixed. So, you all must stay cautious, hydrated, and well-equipped for any possible conditions. As for our batches, they are all moving as per schedule.
