Tth Trek Update: Valley Of Flowers Remains A Favourite Among Trekkers This Monsoon
The weather across the trekking regions of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand remains mostly pleasant today. The weather is cloudy right now, but it might drizzle later on.
Although, all the trekking batches are operating as scheduled. However, as weather in the mountains can change quickly during the monsoon season, trekkers are advised to carry all essential monsoon trekking gear and remain prepared for sudden changes in weather.
We recommend adding a few buffer days to your trekking itinerary and staying updated with the latest trek advisories. Here's the current status of all the ongoing trekking batches.
UTTARAKHAND TREKS UPDATE
Valley of Flowers Trek
The weather at the Valley of Flowers base camp (Pipalkoti) has taken a turn, and it's cloudy today. As for the batches:
The 6th August batch is on the last day of their schedule, and today they will drive from Pipalkoti to Rishikes.
The 7th August batch is on the 5th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Ghangaria to Govindghat and drive to Pipalkoti (Badrinath optional).
The two batches of 8th August are on the 4th day of their schedule, and today they will trek from Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib and back to Ghangaria.
The two batches of 9th of August are on the 3rd day, and today they will trek from Ghangaria to Valley of Flower and back to Ghangaria.
The two batches of 10th of August are on their 2nd day, and today, they will drive from Pipalkoti to Govindghat-Pulna and Trek to Ghangaria.
A new batch of Valley of Flowers has begun on 11th August and today, they will drive from Rishikesh to Pipalkoti.
HIMACHAL TREKS UPDATE
Hampta Pass Trek
The weather at the Hampta Pass base camp (Manali) is cloudy today. As for the batches:
The 7th of August batch is on the last day of their trek schedule, and today they will drive from Chatru to Manali.
The 8th of August batch is on the 4th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Shea Goru to Chatru and drive to Chandratal.
The 9th of August batch is on the 3rd day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Balu Ka Ghera to Shea Goru via Hampta Pass.
The 10th of August batch is on its second day, and today, they will trek from Chhika to Balu Ka Ghera.
Pin Bhaba Trek
The weather at the Pin Bhaba Pass base camp (Kafnu) has turned cloudy today. As for the batches:
The 9th August batch is on the 3rd day of their trek schedule, and today they will drive from Mulling to Kara.
The 10th of August batch is on the 2nd day of its schedule, and today, they will trek from Kafnu to Mulling.
Bhrigu Lake Trek
The weather at Gulaba, the base camp of the Bhrigu Lake trek, is cloudy today. As for the trekking schedule:
The 9th of August batch is on the 3rd day of its schedule, and today, they will trek from Rola Kholi to Bhrigu Lake and back to Rola Kholi.
A customized batch of 9th August is also on the 3rd day of their schedule, and today they will move from Rola Kholi to Bhrigu Lake and back to Rola Kholi.
LEH - LADAKH EXPEDITION TREK
Across Leh–Ladakh, trekking routes the weather has taken quite a turn, and the weather is all sunny today. But still the weather in the mountains tends to be unpredictable. Therefore, we firmly advised all the trekkers to keep a close watch on local weather updates and stay prepared for sudden changes in weather conditions.
