INDIA TREKS UPDATE
- Uttarakhand Treks
Winter Kuari Pass Trek
After a fresh snowfall yesterday in Kuari Pass, the weather has cleared and shifted to sunny skies today. Apart from that, new winter treks have started—
- The 4th January batch is on the last day of their trek, and today they will return from Pipalkoti to Rishikesh.
- The 5th January batch is on day 5 of their schedule, and today they will move from Tali forest camp to Pipalkoti via Gurson Bugyal and Auli.
- The 6th January batch is on day 4 of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Tali Forest Camp to Kuari Pass and back via Khullara Top.
- A new batch of Kuari Pass has begun on 9th January, and today they will depart from Rishikesh to Pipalkoti.
Chopta Chandrashila with Deoriatal (5 Days)
The weather in Sari, on the Chopta Chandrashila Trek, has turned all clear again for now. As for the batch update -
- The 5th January batch is on the last day of their schedule, and today they will drive back to Rishikesh.
- The 7th January batch is on the day 3 schedule, and today they will move from Deoria Tal to Tala Village and drive to Baniyakund.
Chopta Chandrashila 3 Day Trek
The current weather in Baniyakund, the base camp, is all clear for now. As for the trek update -
- The 8th January batch is on their day 2 schedule, and today they will move from Baniyakund to Chopta (drive) and trek to Tungnath and Chandrashila and Return.
Dayara Bugyal Trek
As the dynamic weather conditions are still prevalent on the Dayara Bugyal trek, the sky has become clear for now. As for the batch update -
- The 6th January batch is on day 4 of their schedule, and today they will move from Chilapada to Dayara Top and trek to Nayata.
- The 7th January batch is on day 3 of their trek, and today they will move from Gui to Chilapada.
Kedarkantha Trek
The Kedarkantha Trek is exhibiting clear weather throughout from the base camp, Sankri, to the summit. Regarding the batches—
- The 4th January batch is on the last day of their schedule, and today they will depart from Sankri to Dehradun.
- The 7th January batch is on day 3 of their schedule, and today they will move from Juda-Ka-Talab to Kedarkantha Base.
- The 8th January batch is on day 2 of their schedule, and today they will move from Sankri to Juda-Ka-Talab.
Brahmatal Trek
The weather in the Brahmatal Trek region has shifted to clear for now. As for the batch update -
- The 5th January batch is on day 5 of their trek, and today they will move from Brahmatal to Lohajung.
- The 7th January batch is on their day 3 schedule, and today they will move from Gujreni to Tilandi.
- The 8th January batch is on day 2 of their schedule, and today they will move from Lohajung to Gujreni.
- North East Treks
Sandakphu Trek
The weather in Sepi, the base camp of the Sandakphu Trek, is completely clear for now. As for the batch update—
- The 6th January batch of Sandakphu is on Day 4 of their schedule, and today they will move from Phalut to Thokum.
- The 7th January batch of Sandakphu is on day 3 of their schedule, and today they will move from Samanden to Phalut via Gorkhey.
- The 8th January batch is on day 2 of their schedule, and today they will move from Sepi to Samanden via Ramam.
- A new batch of Sandakphu has begun on 9th January, and today they will drive from NJP to Sepi.
