6th March Weather Update: All the trekking regions across the Himalayas are experiencing Sunny Weather

Great news from the mountains! The spring sun shines brightly and pleasantly across all the Himalayan trekking routes today. From high-altitude alpine passes to dense forests, the landscapes are bathed in golden sunshine.

The skies are clear, and visibility is excellent. So, trekkers can expect crisp mountain air and spectacular views of snow-capped peaks. Ideal conditions for steady climbs, photography, and experiencing the Himalayan panoramas.

Here is today’s update for our currently running treks:

INDIA TREKS UPDATE

• Uttarakhand Treks

Winter Kuari Pass Trek

Today, the weather in the Kuari Pass base camp (Pipalkoti) has turned all sunny. As for the batch updates—

• 2 batches of 1st March are on the 6th day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Pipalkoti to Rishikesh.
• The 2nd March batch is on the 5th day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Tali forest camp to Pipalkoti via Gurson Bugyal and Auli.

Chopta Chandrashila Trek

Today, the weather in the Chopta base camp (Sari) is all bright and sunny. As for the weather updates—

• The 2nd March batch is on the 5th day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from the drive back to Rishikesh.

Kedarkantha Trek

The weather at the Kedarkantha base camp in Sankri is all Sunny again. As for the trek updates—

• The 1st March batch is on the last day of their trek schedule, and today they will depart from Sankri to Dehradun.
• The 2nd March batch is on the 5th day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Hargaon camp to Sankri.

Brahmatal Trek

The weather at the base camp, Lohajung, is all Sunny today, and it’s perfect for trekking. As for the batch updates –

• The 1st March batch is on the last day of their schedule, and today they will drive back from Lohajung to Rishikesh.

Dayara Bugyal Trek

The weather at the base camp, Natin, of Dayara Bugyal is Sunny again. As for the batches—

• The 2nd March batch is on day 5 of their schedule, and today they will move from Nayata to Natin village and drive to Dehradun.

Gulabi Kantha Trek

The weather in base camp, Hanuman Chatti, of Gulabi Kantha is all sunny today, an ideal condition for trekking in nature. Currently, there is no ongoing batch of the Gulabi Kantha trek.

• North-East Treks

Sandakphu Trek

The weather at Sepi, Sandakphu Base Camp, is sunny today. As for the batch updates -

• The 1st March batch is on the 6th day of their schedule, and they will move from Aal to Timburey via Sandakphu.
• The 2nd March batch is on day 5, and today they have moved from Thokum to Aal.

Although morning temperatures are still cool, as the sun rises, the trails are warmed up comfortably. In other words, gentle mountain breezes and warm sunshine keep the trails pleasant.

Carry sun protection, stay hydrated, start early, and keep an eye on changing afternoon winds at higher elevations.
