Trekking conditions across the Himalayan region continue to be dominated by cloudy weather. The sky is largely overcast, reducing direct sunlight on the trails and making the atmosphere cooler than usual. Nighttime temperatures continue to drop sharply, especially in the upper reaches.
Wind speeds are generally mild to moderate but can increase in exposed high passes, which can make you feel colder than what the temperature really is. Also, light to moderate drizzles are expected intermittently in some mid-altitude regions, creating slippery trail conditions.
You can monitor our local updates for sudden weather changes, especially in higher altitudes. So, exercise caution on steep and rocky sections.
