Yet another day, and the weather conditions in the entire Himalayan region have been switching between being all cloudy and rainy. That said, all the batches are running as per schedule.

Now, apart from all the normal ongoing treks like Chopta, Dayara, many other treks begin today, like Sar Pass, Chandrakhani Pass, and so on.

Other than that, all the trekkers are advised to carry their gear properly and contact their trek leader for further guidance, as the weather has now shifted towards being all rainy and cloudy in all the regions.

Now, here is today’s update on various trekking batches:

INDIA TREKS UPDATE

• Uttarakhand Treks

Kedarkantha Trek - Summer Camp Batch

The weather at the Kedarkantha summer camp batch, which is Sankri, is all cloudy. As for their batch update -

• The 1st Batch of Kedarkantha Summer Camp was started on 2nd May, and today they are on the 3rd day of their schedule. Today, all the kids will trek to Juda- Ka-Talab.

Pangarchulla Trek

The weather in Pipalkoti, the base camp of the Pangarchulla trek, is cloudy today as well. As for the trek updates:

• The 2nd May batch is on the 3rd day of their schedule, and today they will trek from Gulling Top to Khullara.

Chopta Chandrashila Tungnath Trek with Deoriatal

Today, the weather in the Chopta base camp (Sari) is rainy. As for the batches -

• The two batches of 2nd May are on the 3rd day of their schedule, and today they will move from Deoria Tal to Tala Village and drive to Baniyakund.
• A new batch of the Chopta Chandrashila trek began on 4th May, and today they will move from Rishikesh to Sari Village.

Chopta Chandrashila 3 Days Trek

Today, the weather in the Chopta base camp (Banikyakund) is rainy. As for the batch update -

• The 2nd May batch is on the last day of their schedule, and today they will drive back to Rishikesh.

Har Ki Dun Trek

The weather at the Har Ki Dun base camp (Sankri) is cloudy today as well. As for the batch update-

• The 2nd May batch is on the 3rd day of their schedule, and today they will trek from Osla to Seematra.

Dayara Bugyal Trek

The weather at the Dayara Bugyal Trek base camp (Natin) is all cloudy today. As for the batch update—

• The three batches of 2nd May are on 3rd day of their schedule, and today they will move from Gui to Chilapada.
• A new batch of Dayara Bugyal have begun on 4th May, and today they will move from Dehradun to Natin Village.

Kuari Pass Trek

The weather at the Kuari Pass base camp (Pipalkoti) is all cloudy today. As for the batch update—

• The 2nd May batch is on the 3rd day of their schedule, and today they will trek from Gulling Top to Tali Forest Camp.

Gaumukh Tapovan Trek

The weather at the base camp, Gangotri, is all cloudy today. As for the batches:

• The two batches of the 1st May are on the 4th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Chirabasa to Bhojwasa.
• The 2nd May batch is on the 3rd day of their schedule, and today they will trek from Gangotri to Chirabasa.
• A new batch of Gaumukh Tapovan has started on 4th May, and they will drive from Dehradun to Gangotri.

Ranthan Kharak Trek

The weather at the Ranthan Kharak base camp (Kathgodam) is all rainy today. As for the batch update—

• A new batch of Ranthan Kharak has started on 4th May, and they will drive from Kathgodam to Gogina.

• Himachal Treks

Sar Pass Trek

The weather at the Sar Pass base camp (Kasol) is all sunny today. As for the batches:

• The 1st May batch is on 2nd day of their schedule, and today they will move from Grahan Village to Min Thach.
• A new batch of the Sar Pass has begun on 2nd May, and today they will drive from Kasol To Grahan Village.

Bhrigu Lake Trek

The weather at the Sar Pass base camp (Kasol) is all cloudy today. As for the batches:

• The 1st May batch is on 4th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Nagaru to Biskeri Thach via Sar Pass.
• The 2nd May batch is on the 3rd day of their schedule, and today they will trek from Min Thach to Nagaru.
• A new batch of the Sar Pass has begun on 4th May, and today they will drive from Kasol To Grahan Village.

Chandrakhani Pass Trek

The weather at the Chandrakhani Pass base camp (Manali) is all rainy today. As for the batch update—

• A new batch of Chandrakhani Pass has started on 4th May, and they will move from Manali to Rumsu Village.

• North-East Trek

Goechala Trek

The weather at the Goechala base camp (Yuksom) is all rainy today. As for the batch update -

• The 2nd May batch is on the 3rd day of their schedule, and today they will trek from Sachen to Tshokha via Bakhim.

Overall, the conditions in the Himalayan treks today are quite mixed. Somewhere it’s cloudy, and somewhere it’s all rainy. So, you all must stay cautious, hydrated, and well-equipped for any possible conditions.
