We hear a lot of talk around experiential learning for kids. The learning they get from being close to nature cannot be learned through any syllabised book. Let the world only talk about it, we here at Trek The Himalayas walk the talk (quite literally!). The summer of this year is an amazing opportunity for you to take your kids on a trek and give those young brains a taste of experiential learning. Where to start? Beas Kund Trek in Himachal Pradesh is the best option for you.
The Beas Kund trek route from start to its very destination gets more and more beautiful as you move forward everyday. By the time you reach the final destination of this trek, what awaits you will excite your kids. The great Pir Panjal Range from their textbooks to right in front of them, its famous peaks and of course the Beas Kund. These are just one of the few things that’ll imprint a memory of a lifetime in their minds.
Starting from the very start, we begin the Beas Kund trekking from Dhundi, a forested trail with thick covers of coniferous trees to Palchani Thach or meadows. In about an hour or so of trekking, we reach the first campsite. One of the best parts about Beas Kund trek is that it progresses gradually in terms of elevation, and distance covered in a day. Making it just perfect for first timers as well as kids.
Covering more such meadows like Lohali and Lady Leg, the trek will go to the summit point. From here we see the Pir Panjal range, famous peaks of Himachal like - Friendship peak, Hanuman peak, Tibba, and Shitidhar peaks and below it, is the turquoise blue Beas Kund resting in all its glory.
If this sounds like a perfect vacation for your family and friends. And if you want to trek in wilderness with safety and good hot food, then Trek The Himalayas is the place for you. We are India’s safest and trusted adventure provider. Our trek leaders and support staff take care of our trekkers in every step and turn. Make a different story board of memory with your family on Beas Kund Trek.
