4th April 2026 Weather Update: Most of the Himalayan Treks are Dominated by Thick Cloud Cover

Today, the weather across the Himalayan trekking routes is cloudy once again. Skies remain overcast throughout most regions with a chance of snowfall in high altitudes.

Periodic rainfall is being reported in a few mid-altitude treks. We recommend trekkers to take caution on trails, especially on steep or uneven sections.

At higher altitudes, temperatures may drop further during the night, and fresh snow might sweep passes and exposed ridgelines.

Trekkers are advised to stay updated on local forecasts, carry proper rain and cold-weather gear, and be prepared for sudden drops in temperature.
