The Himalayas are once again experiencing mixed weather conditions as the season transitions. Today, all the trekking regions are experiencing cloudy or sunny weather, except for the Sandakphu, as it’s raining there today.

So, trekkers are advised to carry proper gear and proper layers of clothes, and before leaving for their trek, they should ask their respective trek leader about the same.

That said, till now, all the batches have been going quite smoothly without encountering any problems. Just remember that it’s important that you keep yourself updated with local weather forecasts, as conditions might change quickly. Other than that, if there are any changes, we will keep you updated.

• Uttarakhand Treks

Kuari Pass Trek

The weather in the Kuari Pass base camp (Pipalkoti) has turned once again, and trekkers are experiencing cloudy weather today. As for the batch update -

• The 21st March batch is on the 3rd day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Gulling Top to Tali Forest Camp.
• The 22nd March batch is on the 2nd day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Pipalkoti to Gulling Top.
• A new batch of the Kuari Pass trek began on 23rd March, and today they will move from Rishikesh to Pipalkoti.

Chopta Chandrashila Trek

Today, the weather in the Chopta base camp (Sari) has changed, and once again it’s all cloudy there now. As for the batch updates -

• The 20th March batch is on the 4th day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Baniyakund to Chopta (drive) and trek to Tungnath and Chandrashila and return.
• The 21st March batch is on the 3rd day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Deoria Tal to Tala Village and drive to Baniyakund.
• The 22nd March batch is on the 2nd day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Sari to Alpine Lake Deoria Tal.
• A new batch of the Chopta Chandrashila trek began on 23rd March, and today they will move from Rishikesh to Sari Village.

Brahmatal Trek

The weather at the Brahmatal trek base camp (Lohajung) has also turned cloudy today. As for the batch update—

• The 16th March batch is on the last day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Lohajung to Rishikesh.
• The 20th March batch is on the 4th day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Tilandi to Brahmatal via Jhandi Top and Brahmatal Summit.
• A new batch of the Brahmatal trek began on 23rd March, and today they will move from Rishikesh to Lohajung.

Pangarchulla Trek

The weather in Pipalkoti, the base camp of the Pangarchulla trek, is all cloudy today. As for the trek updates:

• The two batches of 22nd March are on the 2nd day of their trek, and today they will drive from Pipalkoti to Tugasu Village and Trek to Gulling Top.
• The two batches of 21st March are on the 3rd day of their trek, and today they will trek from Gulling Top to Khullara.
• A new batch of the Pangarchulla trek began on 23rd March, and today they will move from Rishikesh to Pipalkoti.

Dayara Bugyal Trek

The weather at the Dayara Bugyal trek base camp (Natin) has also turned cloudy today. As for the batch update -

• The 21st March batch is on the 3rd day of their trek, and today they will move from Gui to Chilapada.
• The 22nd March batch is on the 2nd day of their trek, and today they will move from Natin to Gui.
• A new batch of the Dayara Bugyal trek began on 23rd March, and today they will move from Dehradun to Natin Village.

Everest Base Camp Trek

The weather at the Everest Base Camp is all rainy today, but the higher base camp trekkers can see slight snowfall happening there today. As for the batch updates -

• The 14th March batch is on the 10th day of their trek, and today they will hike to Kalapatthar and the retreat trek to Pangboche.
• The 15th March batch is on the 9th day of their trek, and today they will trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep.
• The 16th March batch is on the 8th day of their trek, and today they will trek from Dingboche to Lobuche.
