20th February Weather Update: New Batch of Chopta, Brahmatal, and Dayara Bugyal Begins

Just like always, the weather has again suddenly taken a complete U-turn and turned back to all bright and sunny today. Making it a perfect day to begin or continue your trekking journey in the mountains.

So, it is our firm advice to you all that before going on the trek, make sure to prepare yourself properly and carry the gear as well as clothing according to the weather.

As for the change in the weather update? You don’t have to worry about that; we will make sure to keep you updated if there are any changes in the weather in the future.

INDIA TREKS UPDATE

• Uttarakhand Treks

Winter Kuari Pass Trek

Today, the weather in the Kuari Pass base camp (Pipalkoti) has turned bright and sunny. As for the batch updates—

• The two batches of 16th February are on day 5 of their schedule, and today they will move from Tali Forest Camp - Pipalkoti via Gurson Bugyal and Auli.

Chopta Chandrashila Trek

Today, the weather in the Chopta base camp (Sari) is all bright and sunny. As for the weather updates-

• A new batch of Chopta has begun on 20th February, and today they will move from Rishikesh to Sari Village.

Chopta Chandrashila 3 days Trek

Today, the weather in the Chopta base camp ( Baniyakund) is all bright and sunny. As for the weather updates-

• A new batch of Chopta Chandrashila 3-day trek began on 20th February, and today they will move from Rishikesh to Baniyakund.

Kedarkantha Trek

The weather at the Kedarkantha base camp in Sankri has turned all sunny for now. As for the trek updates—

• The 14th February batch is on its last day of the schedule, and today they will move from Sankri and leave for Dehradun.
• The 16th February batch is on day 5 of their schedule, and today they will move from Hargaon Camp to Sankri.

Brahmatal Trek

The weather in the Brahmatal region has taken a complete turn, and currently it is all sunny there. As for the batch updates -

• A new batch of Brahmatal has begun on 20th February, and today they will move from Rishikesh to Lohajung.

Dayara Bugyal Trek

The weather at Dayara Bugyal has also shifted and has turned all sunny now. As for the batches—

• The 16th February batch is on the last day of their schedule, and today they will move from Nayata to Natin Village and drive to Dehradun.
• A new batch of Dayara Bugyal began on 20th February, and today they will move from Dehradun to Natin Village.

Sandakphu Trek

The weather in (Sepi) Sandakphu base camp is all bright and sunny right now, and it will remain so throughout the day.

• The 16th February batch is on day 5 of their schedule, and today they will move from Thokum to Aal.

The weather has flipped once again and has turned the whole weather into all bright and sunny. The weather is changing a lot everyday but you don’t have to worry as we will keep informing you as early as possible so that you can prepare yourself accordingly.
