The weather in the Himalayan trekking region continues to offer sunshine, clouds, and occasional rainfall. In some places, skies are clear and trails are comfortable, while in other areas, mist and fog have enveloped some prominent peaks. Having said that, the Himalayas are still looking absolutely beautiful, and treks are running as per schedule.

The typical monsoon weather conditions have also made the Himalayan landscapes particularly scenic. Fresh greenery, clear mountain horizons, and bright sunlight are creating excellent conditions for photography and panoramic views.

Trekkers are advised to carry proper rain gear, waterproof trekking shoes, and warm layers, and to stay prepared for sudden changes in mountain weather. Wet and slippery sections may require extra caution.

UTTARAKHAND TREKS UPDATE

Har Ki Dun Trek

The weather at the Har Ki Dun Trek base camp (Sankri) is cloudy today. As for the batches:

• The batch of 12 September is on its second day, and today they will drive from Sankri to Dharkot and trek to Osla Village.

Chopta Chandrashila 3 Day Trek

The weather at the Chopta Chandrashila 3 Day Trek base camp (Baniyakund) is cloudy today. As for the batches:

• The batch of 12 September is on its second day, and today they will drive from Baniya Kund to Chopta and trek to Tungnath and Chandrashila and return.

Chopta Chandrashila Tungnath Trek with Deoriatal

The weather at the Chopta Chandrashila Tungnath Trek with Deoriatal base camp (Sari Village) is sunny today. As for the batches:

• The batch of 10th September is on its 4th day, and today, they will Trek from Shea Goru to Chatru and Drive to Chandratal and back to Chatru.
• The two batches of 12 September are on their second day, and today they will Trek from Chhika to Balu Ka Ghera.
• A new batch has started on 13 Sept, and today, they will Drive from Manali to Jobra and Trek from Jobra to Chhika.

Pin Bhaba Trek

The weather at the Pin Bhaba Pass base camp (Kafnu) is cloudy today. As for the batches:

• The 6th September batch is on the 8th day of their trek schedule, and today they will drive from Kaza to Manali.
• The 7th September batch is on the 7th day of their trek schedule, and today, they will trek from Bwaldar to Mudh and Drive to Kaza

LEH-LADAKH EXPEDITION UPDATE

The weather across the Leh-Ladakh trekking routes is currently clear, with no signs of rain. However, conditions in the mountains can change quickly, so we advise all trekkers to stay updated with local weather conditions and remain prepared for sudden changes.

As for the batches, here’s today’s update:

• The 5th September batches of:
1. Dzo Jongo will do Summit and back to Dzo Jongo Base camp.
2. Kang Yatse 2 batch will Trek to Summit (Kang Yatse II) and Back to Base Camp.
3. Kang Yatse 1 and Kang Yatse 2 will Trek from Kang Yatse Basecamp to Camp 1.
4. Kang Yatse 2 and Dzo Jongo will Summit To Kang Yatse II And Back To Base Camp.

The 6th September batch is on the 8th day of their trek schedule, and today will trek from Base camp to Bharatpur and drive to Manali.

TANZANIA AFRICA UPDATE (Overseas Trek)

Mount Kilimanjaro Trek

The weather at the base camp of the Mount Kilimanjaro Trek (Moshi) continues to be pleasant for trekkers. As for the batches:

• The 5th September to 13th September batch is on the 9th and last day of their trek schedule. Today is their departure day.

The overall conditions are typical of this season. From prime monsoon to transition phase, the weather is behaving as per the expected lines. And teams are continuing their planned movements.
