January 3rd, 2026 - Trek & Weather Update: Kuari Pass, Dayara, Sandakphu, and Kedarkantha Trek

As we all know, peak winters have started and cold has rolled in gradually and intensely. The conditions are continuing to shift, and today most of our treks are experiencing cloudy weather. In the coming days, fresh snowfall is expected to occur in high- altitude treks.

The effect of La Nina is yet to be felt in Northern India as it brings colder, snowier, and harsher winters to the Himalayas. So this winter is expected to see a snowy paradise in higher altitudes.

Our sole purpose to curate this weather update is to make your journey easier and more predictable. It carries extensive information regarding weather conditions and current status of all the treks and batches.

So, don’t worry about tracking the weather situation, as we are here to keep you updated at every step. Just trust Trek the Himalayas to guide your journey, whatever the skies may hold!
