Yet another day, and a lot of new batches have begun today. Although the weather conditions in the entire Himalayan region have been switching between being all cloudy and sunny. That said, all the batches are running as per schedule.

Now, apart from all the normal ongoing treks like Chopta, Dayara, and many other treks. The 1st batch of this year’s summer camp has also begun today. So, if any of you are interested in giving your kid a little glimpse of the mountains. You can check out the Himalayan Summer Camp.

Other than that, all the trekkers are advised to carry their gear properly and contact their trek leader for further guidance, too.

INDIA TREKS UPDATE

• Uttarakhand Treks

Summer Camp Batch (Kedarkantha Trek)

The weather at the Kedarkantha summer camp batch, which is Sankri, is all bright and sunny. Perfect weather for kids to enjoy the mountain view during their summer camp. As for their batch update -

• The 1st Batch of Kedarkantha Summer Camp begins on 2nd May (Today), and now they will first arrive at Dehradun and then drive to Base Camp, which is the Sankri Village.

Pangarchulla Trek

The weather in Pipalkoti, the base camp of the Pangarchulla trek, is cloudy today as well. As for the trek updates:

• The two batches of 27th April batch are on the last day of their schedule, and today they will drive from Pipalkoti to Rishikesh.
• A new batch of Pangarchulla has begun on 2nd May, and today they will move from Rishikesh to Pipalkoti.

Chopta Chandrashila Tungnath Trek with Deoriatal

Today, the weather in the Chopta base camp (Sari) is sunny. As for the batches -

• Two new batches of Chopta Chandrashila have begun on 2nd May, and today they will move from Rishikesh to Sari Village.

Chopta Chandrashila 3 Days Trek

Today, the weather in the Chopta base camp (Banikyakund) is sunny. As for the batch update -

• A new batch of Chopta Chandrashila 3 Day Trek has begun on 2nd May, and today they will move from Rishikesh to Baniyakund.

Har Ki Dun Trek

The weather at the Har Ki Dun base camp (Sankri) is sunny today as well. As for the batch update-

• The 27th April batch is on the last day of their schedule, and today they will drive from Sankri to Dehradun.
• The two new batches of Har Ki Dun have begun on 2nd May, and today they will move from Dehradun to Sankri.

Bhrigu Lake Trek

The weather at the Bhrigu Lake trek base camp (Gulaba) is all sunny today. As for the batch update—

• A new batch of Bhrigu Lake has begun on 2nd May, and today they will move from Manali to Gulaba and trek to Gulaba Meadows.

Dayara Bugyal Trek

The weather at the Dayara Bugyal Trek base camp (Natin) is all sunny today. As for the batch update—

• Three new batches of Dayara Bugyal have begun on 2nd May, and today they will move from Dehradun to Natin Village.

Kuari Pass Trek

The weather at the Ali Bedni Bugyal Trek base camp (Pipalkoti) is all sunny today. As for the batch update—

• A new batch of Kuari Pass has begun on 2nd May, and today they will move from Rishikesh to Pipalkoti.

Gaumukh Tapovan Trek

The weather at the base camp, Gangotri, is all sunny today. As for the batches:

• The two batches of the 1st May are on the 2nd day of their schedule, and today they will have an acclimatization day at Gangotri.
• Two new batches of Gaumukh Tapovan have started on 2nd May, and they will drive from Dehradun to Gangotri.

Sar Pass Trek

The weather at the Sar Pass base camp (Kasol) is all sunny today. As for the batches:

• The 1st May batch is on 2nd day of their schedule, and today they will move from Grahan Village to Min Thach.
• A new batch of the Sar Pass has begun on 2nd May, and today they will drive from Kasol To Grahan Village.

• North-East Trek

Goechala Trek

The weather at the Goechala base camp (Yuksom) is all cloudy today. As for the batch update -

• A new batch of the Goechala has begun on 2nd May, and today they will drive from New Jalpaiguri (NJP) to Yuksom.

Sandakphu Trek

The weather at Sepi, the Sandakphu Base Camp, is all cloudy today. As for the batch updates -

• The 27th April batch is on the last day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Timburey To Srikhola And drive To NJP Via Sepi.

Overall, the conditions in the Himalayan treks today are quite mixed. Somewhere it’s cloudy and somewhere it’s all sunny. So, it's important that you all stay cautious, hydrated, and well-equipped for any possible conditions.
