30th January, 2026 - Trek Update: All The Treks Are Running As Per Schedule

As fresh snow has graced most trekking regions, many new batches have embarked on their journeys to witness snow on different treks. The news of fresh snowfall has created curiosity as well as enthusiasm among the trekkers. Hence, trekkers must go on treks after being absolutely prepared to walk on the snowy path, whatever the weather conditions are in their respective trekking regions.

Therefore, we are closely monitoring the weather conditions so that we can keep you updated on all the latest weather forecasts. So, here is our latest weather information across all the treks:

INDIA TREKS UPDATE

  • Uttarakhand Treks

Winter Kuari Pass Trek

The weather in the Kuari Pass base camp (Pipalkoti) is all bright and sunny today.

As for the trek update -

  • The 28th January batch is on day 3 of their schedule, and today they will move from Gulling Top to Tali Forest Camp.
  • A new batch of Kuari Pass began on 30th January, and today they will move from Rishikesh to Pipalkoti.

Chopta Chandrashila with Deoriatal (5 days)

The weather in Sari, on the Chopta Chandrashila Trek, has turned once again, and today it’s completely sunny.

As for the batch update -

  • The 26th January batch is on the last day of their trek, and today they will drive back to Rishikesh.
  • The 28th January batch is on day 3 of their schedule, and today they will move from Deoria Tal to Tala Village and drive to Baniyakund.

Chopta Chandrashila 3 days Trek

The weather in Baniyakund, in the Chopta Chandrashila, is completely sunny today.

As for the batch update -

  • A new batch of the Chopta 3-day trek began on 30th January, and today they will move from Rishikesh to Baniyakund.

Kedarkantha Trek

The weather in the Kedarkantha base camp Sankri, is sunny today.

Regarding the batch update -

  • The 26th January batch is on day 5 of their schedule, and today they will move from Hargaon camp to Sankri.
  • The 27th January batch is on day 4 of their schedule, and today they will move from Kedarkantha Base to Kedarkantha peak, descend to Hargaon Camp.
  • The 28th January batch is on day 3 of their schedule, and today they will move from Juda-Ka-Talab to Kedarkantha Base.

Brahmatal Trek

The weather in the Brahmatal base camp (Lohajung) is all bright and sunny for now.

As for the batch update -

  • The 27th January batch is on day 3 of their schedule, and now they will move from Gujreni to Tilandi.
  • A new batch of the Brahmatal trek began on 30th January, and today they will move from Rishikesh to Lohajung via drive.
  • North East Treks

Sandakphu Trek

The weather in Sepi, the base camp of the Sandakphu Trek, remains sunny.

As for the batch update -

  • The 24th January batch is on the last day of their schedule, and today they will move from Timburey to Srikhola and drive to NJP.
  • The 25th January batch is on day 6 of their schedule, and today they will move from Aal to Timburey via Sandakphu.
  • The 27th January batch is on day 4 of their schedule, and today they will move from Phalut to Thokum.
