TTH Trek Update: A Mix of Sunny, Cloudy and Rainy Weather Across the Trails
Today, the Himalayan treks are experiencing mixed and changeable weather, with periods of rain, sunshine, and cloudy skies across several trekking regions. Intermittent sunny spells and cloud cover are being observed, with visibility varying throughout the day.
As per the latest reports, here’s how the weather looks today across the Himalayan trekking regions:
UTTARAKHAND TREKS UPDATE
Valley of Flowers Trek
The weather at the Valley of Flowers base camp (Pipalkoti) is rainy today. As for the batches:
The batch of 25th August are on their 6th day, and today, they will drive from Pipalkoti to Rishikesh.
The batch of 26 August is on its 5th day, and today, they will trek from Ghangaria to Govindghat and Drive to Pipalkoti (Badrinath optional).
The batch of 29th August is on its 2nd day, and today, they will drive from Pipalkoti to Govindghat-Pulna and Trek to Ghangaria.
A new batch has started on 30th August, and today, they will drive from Rishikesh to Pipalkoti.
HIMACHAL TREKS UPDATE
Hampta Pass Trek
The weather at the Hampta Pass base camp (Manali) continues to be sunny today. As for the batches:
The batch of 26 August is on its 5th day, and today, they will drive from Chatru to Manali.
The batch of 27 August is on its 4th day, and today, they will trek from Shea Goru to Chatru and drive to Chandratal and back to Chatru.
Two new batches started on 30th August, and today they will drive from Manali to Jobra and trek from Jobra to Chhika.
Pin Bhaba Trek
The weather at the Pin Bhaba Pass base camp (Kafnu) is cloudy and sunny today. As for the batches:
The batch of 23rd August is on its 8th day, and today, they will drive from Kaza to Manali.
The batch of 24th August is on its 7th day, and today, they will trek from Bwaldar to Mudh and drive to Kaza.
The batch of 29th August is on its 2nd day, and today they will trek from Kafnu to Mulling.
The customized batch of 29th August is on its 2nd day, and today they will trek from Kafnu to Mulling.
A new batch has started on 30th August, and today, they’ll drive from Shimla to Kafnu.
Pin Parvati Trek
The weather at the Pin Parvati base camp (Manali) is sunny today. As for the batches:
The 15th August batch is on the 8th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Pin Base to Tiya.
Yunam Peak expedition
The weather at the base camp of the Yunam Peak trek, Manali, continues to be sunny today. As for the batches:
The 23rd August batch is on its last day, and today, they will trek from Base Camp to Bharatpur and then drive to Manali.
Note - The Friendship Peak batch has been diverted to Yunam Peak. The new batch began its expedition on 30th August and today, they will arrive in Manali.
Bhrigu Lake Trek
The weather at the base camp of Bhrigu Lake (Gulaba) is sunny today. As for the batches:
The batch of 29th August is on its 2nd day, and today they will Trek from Gulaba to Rola Kholi.
A new batch began on 30th August, and today, they will drive from Manali to Gulaba and trek to Gulaba Meadows.
LEH-LADAKH EXPEDITION UPDATE
The weather across the Leh-Ladakh trekking routes is currently clear and pleasant, with bright blue skies and no clouds. The clear weather is providing good visibility across the mountain ranges and trekking trails, making it a great day for trekkers.

Dzo Jongo East Peak With Markha Valley Trek
The weather in the Markha Valley region is showing clear, blue skies today. As for the batches:
The 22 August 2026 batch of the Dzo Jongo East expedition had 6 climbers successfully summit the peak. The team will stay at Base Camp today.
The 23 August 2026 Indian Navy Dzo Jongo East and West expedition departed from Hankar for Nimaling.

Kang Yatse 2 Peak Expedition

The 27 August 2026 Kang Yatse II expedition is on its 4th day and today departed from Sara to Markha with 15 climbers.

More importantly, follow your trek leader’s instructions earnestly, and avoid unnecessary risks.
