TTH Trek Update: Sunny Skies and Lush Landscapes Set the Tone for Smooth Himalayan Treks

Today, the Himalayan treks are experiencing pleasant weather with mostly sunny skies and comfortable conditions across several trekking regions. As per recent updates, many trails in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh are seeing good visibility and breathtaking views.

The Valley of Flowers region is currently experiencing rainy conditions, with monsoon showers and cloudy weather along the trail. Conditions across several Himachal trekking routes are comparatively brighter, with sunny spells and generally pleasant weather.

As per the latest reports, here's how the weather looks today across the Himalayan trekking regions:

UTTARAKHAND TREKS

Valley of Flowers Trek

The weather at the Valley of Flowers base camp (Pipalkoti) is rainy today. As for the batches:

• The two batches of 24th August are on their 6th day, and today, they will drive from Pipalkoti to Rishikesh.
• The batch of 25th August is on its 5th day, and today, they will trek from Ghangaria to Govindghat and Drive to Pipalkoti (Badrinath optional).
• The batch of 26th August is on its 4th day, and today, they will trek from Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib and back to Ghangaria.
• A new batch has started on 29th August, and today, they will drive from Rishikesh to Pipalkoti.

HIMACHAL TREKS

Hampta Pass Trek

The weather at the Hampta Pass base camp (Manali) continues to be sunny today. As for the batches:

• The batch of 26th August is on its 4th day, and today, they will trek from Shea Goru to Chatru and drive to Chandratal and back to Chatru.
• The batch of 27th August is on its 3rd day, and today, they will trek from Balu Ka Ghera to Shea Goru via Hampta Pass.

Pin Bhaba Pass Trek

The weather at the Pin Bhaba Pass base camp (Kafnu) is sunny today. As for the batches:

• The batch of 23rd August is on its 7th day, and today, they will trek from Bwaldar to Mudh and drive to Kaza.
• The batch of 24th August is on its 6th day, and today they will trek from Phutsirang to Bwaldar via Bhaba Pass.
• A new batch has started on 29th August, and today, they'll drive from Shimla to Kafnu.
• A new customized batch has started on 29th August, and today, they'll drive from Shimla to Kafnu.

Yunam Peak Expedition

The weather at the base camp of the Yunam Peak trek, Manali, continues to be sunny today. As for the batches:

• The 23rd August batch is on its 7th day, and today, they will trek from Base camp to Summit and back to Base camp.

Bhrigu Lake Trek

The weather at the base camp of Bhrigu Lake (Gulaba) is sunny today. As for the batches:

• A new batch has begun on 29th August, and today, they will drive from Manali to Gulaba and trek to Gulaba Meadows.

LEH - LADAKH EXPEDITION

The weather across the Leh-Ladakh trekking route has clear blue skies, particularly in the Markha Valley region.

Dzo Jongo East Peak With Markha Valley Trek

The weather in the Markha Valley region is showing clear, blue skies today. As for the batches:

• The 22nd August batch to Markha Valley and Dzo Jongo East Expedition, with 9 trekkers and 8 climbers, is on its 8th day. Today is Rest day + Training day (Summit night).
• The 23rd August of the Indian Navy to Dzo Jongo East and West is on 5th Day, and today, they will trek from Markha To Hankar.

Kang Yatse 2 Peak Expedition

The weather in the Kang Yatse 2 region is experiencing a clear, sunny sky. As for the batches:

• The 27th August batch will drive from Leh to Skiu, then Trek to Sara.
