TTH Trek Update: All Trekking Regions Are Experiencing Peak Monsoon Weather
The weather across the Himachal, Uttarakhand, and Leh regions has taken quite a turn today. All the regions are experiencing rainy weather today.
As mountain weather is changing quickly, we recommend carrying proper rain gear and all essential trekking equipment. If the skies clear and it turns sunny, don't forget to stay hydrated, apply sunscreen, and protect yourself from the sun.
Also, keep an eye out for the regular trek update that we post on the “trek update” column of our website. Apart from that, all the road conditions of all the trekking regions are great and all the routes are also open. Now, here are the new batch updates.
UTTARAKHAND TREKS UPDATE
Valley of Flowers Trek
The weather at the Valley of flowers base camp (Pipalkoti) is cloudy today. As for the batches:
The 17th July batch is on the 5th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Ghangaria to Govindghat and drive to Pipalkoti (Badrinath optional).
Two batches of 18th July are on the 4th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib and back to Ghangaria.
Two new batches of 19th July are on the 3rd day of their schedule, and today they will move from Ghangaria to Valley of Flower and back to Ghangaria.
Two new batches of 20th July are on the 2nd day of their schedule, and today they will drive from Pipalkoti to Govindghat-Pulna and trek to Ghangaria.
Two new batches of Valley of Flowers began on 21st July, and today they will drive from Rishikesh to Pipalkoti.
HIMACHAL TREKS UPDATE
Hampta Pass Trek
The weather at the Hampta Pass base camp (Manali) is rainy today. As for the batches:
The 17th July batch is on the last day of their trek schedule, and today they will drive from Chatru to Manali.
The 18th July batch is on the 4th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Shea Goru to Chatru and drive to Chandratal.
The 19th July batch is on the 3rd day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Balu Ka Ghera to Shea Goru via Hampta Pass.
The 20th July batch is on the 2nd day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Chikka to Balu Ka Ghera.
A new batch of Hampta Pass began on 21st July, and today they will drive from Manali to Jobra and trek from Jobra to Chhika.
Pin Bhaba Trek
The weather at the Pin Bhaba Pass base camp (Kafnu) is also rainy today. As for the batches:
The 17th July batch is on the 5th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Kara to Phutsirang.
The 18th July batch is on the 4th day of their trek schedule, and today they will rest and acclimatise at Kara.
The 19th July batch is on the 3rd day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Mulling to Kara.
The 20th July batch is on the 2nd day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Kafnu to Mulling.
LEH - LADAKH EXPEDITION TREK
The weather at the Leh Base Camp is all cloudy today. Apart from that, it might drizzle there, and there is also a high possibility of having snowfall above the base camp.The weather at the Leh Base Camp has changed quite a bit since last night. Last night it rained heavily there, but right now it is just drizzling there.
Kang Yatse 1 Expedition
At the Kang Yatse 1 base camp (Leh), it’s drizzling today. As for the batches:
The 18th July batch is on the 4th day of their schedule, and today they will trek from Sara to Markha.
Dzo Jongo East Peak Expedition
The weather at the Dzo Jongo East Peak Expedition base camp (Leh) is drizzling today. As for the batches:
