TTh Trek Update: Grey Sky And Constant Rain Have Taken Over The Bright And Clear Sky Of The Himalayas
The Himalayan trekking routes are currently offering beautiful conditions, but with a little twist of sometimes cloudy and sometimes rainy weather. Yet the trails are quite comfortable for trekkers and provide stunning views to the trekkers.
Trekkers on the routes are progressing smoothly as planned, enjoying clear mountain views and refreshing weather throughout their journey.
As per the latest reports, here’s how the weather looks today across the Himalayan trekking regions:
UTTARAKHAND TREKS UPDATE
Har Ki Dun
The weather at the Har Ki Dun Trek base camp (Sankri) is rainy today. As for the batches:
The batch of 12 September is on its 6th day, and today they will trek from Osla to Dharkot and drive from Dharkot to Sankri.
Gaumukh Tapovan Trek
The weather at the Gaumukh Tapovan Trek base camp (Gangotri) is cloudy today. As for the batches:
The 12th Sept batch is on its 6th day, and today, they will trek from Tapovan to Bhojwasa via Gaumukh.
The 13th Sept batch is on its 5th day, and today, they will trek from Bhojwasa To Tapovan.
Kuari Pass Trek
The weather at the base camp Pipalkoti is cloudy today. As for batches:
The batch of 13th Sept is on its 5th day, and today, they will trek from Tali forest camp - Pipalkoti via Gurson Bugyal and auli.
Valley of Flowers Trek
The weather at the base camp (Pipalkoti) is cloudy today. As for batches:
The 14th September batch is on the 4th day of their trek schedule, and today, they will trek from Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib and back to Ghangaria.
The 16th September customized batch is on the 2nd day of their trek schedule, and today they will drive from Pipalkoti to Govindghat-Pulna and trek to Ghangaria.
HIMACHAL TREKS UPDATE
Hampta Pass Trek
The weather at the Hampta Pass base camp (Manali) is rainy today. As for the batches:
The 13th September batch is on the 5th day of their trek schedule, and today they will drive from Chatru to Manali.
The two batches of 14th Sept are on the 4th day of their trek schedule, and today they will Trek from Shea Goru to Chatru and Drive to Chandratal and back to Chatru.
The 16th Sept batch is on the 2nd day of their trek schedule, and today, they will trek from Chhika to Balu Ka Ghera.
Buran Ghati Trek
The weather at the base camp (Janglik) has taken a turn and it’s rainy today. As for the batches:
The 13th Sept batch is on the 5th day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Litham to Dhunda.
Rupin Pass Trek
The weather at Rupin Pass base camp (Bawta) has changed and got turned into rainy weather. As for the batches:
The 13th Sept batch is on its 5th day, and today, they will trek from Dandreyash Thatch to Upper Waterfall.
The 14th Sept batch is on the 4th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Saruwas Thatch to Dandreyash Thatch.
LEH - LADAKH EXPEDITION TREK
The weather across the Leh-Ladakh trekking routes is currently experiencing partially cloudy conditions.
As for the batches, here’s today’s update:
Kang Yatse 1 and Kang Yatse 2 climbers attempted to move towards Kang Yatse 2 and returned to base camp.
Kang Yatse 2 and Dzo Jongo batch climbers, they will return to leh city via Kongmarula pass.
The 12 September batch of Markha valley trek moved from Hankar to Nimaling.
The overall conditions are typical of this season. From prime monsoon to transition phase, the weather is behaving as per the expected lines. And teams are continuing their planned movements.
