Trekking conditions across the Himalayan region continue to keep changing constantly. Yesterday, it was all bright and sunny, but today? The weather has once again taken a toll and it’s all cloudy in most of the Himalayan region. But even after all the constant changes in the weather, all the treks are running very smoothly.

But still, our firm advice is to make sure you are properly equipped for your trekking adventure or trip. Other than that, a lot of new batches have begun in the past few days, and today, new batches of the Rupin Pass, Buran Ghati, Sar Pass, Bali and other treks begin.

You can monitor our local updates for sudden weather changes, especially in higher altitudes. So, exercise caution on steep and rocky sections.

INDIA TREKS UPDATE

• Uttarakhand Treks

Dayara Bugyal Trek- Summer Camp Batch

The weather at the Dayara Bugyal summer camp, which is in Natin, is all cloudy. As for their batch update -

• The 1st Batch of Dayara Bugyal Summer Camp was started on 9th May, and today they are on the last day of their schedule, meaning today they will leave for Dehradun.

Har Ki Dun Trek

The weather at the Har Ki Dun base camp (Sankari) is sunny today as well. As for the batch update-

• The 9th May batch is on the last day of their schedule, and today they will move from Sankri to Dehradun.

Kuari Pass Trek

The weather at the Kuari Pass base camp (Pipalkoti) is all cloudy. As for the batch update -

• The 9th May batch is on the last day of their schedule, and today they will move from Pipalkoti to Rishikesh.
• The 10th May batch is on the 5th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Tali Forest Camp - Pipalkoti via Gurson bugyal and Auli.

Gaumukh Tapovan Trek

The weather at the base camp in Gangotri is sunny today. As for the batches:

• The two batches of 10th May are on the 7th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Bhojwasa to Gangotri.
• The 11th May batch is on the 6th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Tapovan to Bhojwasa via Gaumukh.
• A new batch of Gaumukh Tapovan began on 15th May, and today they will move from Dehradun to Gangotri.

Ranthan Kharak Trek

The weather at the Ranthan Kharak base camp (Gogina) has changed, and it’s cloudy there today. As for the batch update—

• The 10th May batch is on the 6th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Namik to Gogina.

Bali Pass Trek

The weather at the Bali Pass base camp (Sankari) is all sunny today. As for the batch update—

• The 8th May batch is on the last day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Lower Dhamni to Janki Chatti and drive to Dehradun.
• The 9th May batch is on the 7th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Bali Col Camp to Lower Dhamni via Bali Pass.
• The 10th May batch is on the 6th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Odari to Bali Col Camp.
• A new batch of Bali Pass began on 15th May, and today they will move from Dehradun to Sankri.

Surya Top Trek

The weather at the Surya Top Trek base camp (Natin) is all cloudy today. As for the batch update -

• The 10th May batch is on the last day of their trek schedule, and today they will go from Natin to Dehradun via driving.

• Himachal Treks

Sar Pass Trek

The weather at the Sar Pass base camp (Kasol) has also changed, and it’s all sunny there today. As for the batches:

• A new batch of Sar Pass began on 15th May, and today they will move from Kasol to Grahan Village.

Rupin Pass Trek

The weather at the Rupin Pass Trek base camp (Bawta) is all cloudy today. As for the batch update -

• The 9th May batch is on the last day of their schedule, and today they will move from Ronti Gd to Sangla and drive to Shimla.
• The two batches of 10th May are on the 6th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Upper Waterfall to Ronti Gad via Rupin Pass.
• The 13th May is on the 3rd day of their schedule, and today they will move from Jakha to Saruwas Thatch.
• The 14th May batch is on the 2nd day of their schedule, and today they will move from Bawta to Jakha.
• Two new batches of Buran Ghati began on 15th May, and today they will arrive in Bawta.

Buran Ghati Trek

The weather in Janglik, the base camp of the Buran Ghati trek, is all cloudy today. As for the trek updates:

• The 9th May batch is on the last day of their schedule, and today they will move from Dhunda to Munirang via Buran Ghati Pass.
• The two batches of 10th May are on the 6th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Dhunda to Munirang via Buran Ghati Pass.
• The 11th May batch is on the 5th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Litham to Dhunda.
• The 13th May batch is on the 3rd day of their schedule, and today they will move from Dayara Thatch to Litham.
• The 14th May batch is on the 2nd day of their schedule, and today they will trek from Janglik to Dayara Thatch.
• A new batch of Buran Ghati has begun on 15th May, and today they will move from Shimla to Janglik.

• North-East Trek

Goechala Trek

The weather at the Goechala base camp (Yuksom) is all cloudy today. And currently, there is no ongoing batch of Goechala.
