The Himalayan trekking season is seeing mostly sunny and pleasant conditions across several popular trekking regions. Clear to partly sunny skies are providing good visibility of the surrounding peaks and making daytime trekking comfortable.

Trek routes are progressing smoothly, with teams continuing their journeys as scheduled. Trails will offer favorable conditions for walking with good visibility.

However, temperatures can drop considerably after sunset and at higher camps, so warm layers, rain protection, and proper trekking gear remain essential.

As per the latest reports, here’s how the weather looks today across the Himalayan trekking regions:

UTTARAKHAND TREKS UPDATE

Har Ki Dun

The weather at the Har Ki Dun Trek base camp (Sankri) is sunny today. As for the batches:

• The batch of 12 September is on its 4th day, and today they will trek from Seematra to Har Ki Dun.

Chopta Chandrashila Tungnath Trek with Deoriatal

The weather at the Chopta Chandrashila Tungnath Trek with Deoriatal base camp (Sari Village) is sunny today. As for the batches:

• The batch of 12 Sept is on its 4th day, and today, they will drive from Baniyakund to Chopta and trek to Tungnath and Chandrashila and return.

Gaumukh Tapovan Trek

The weather at the Gaumukh Tapovan Trek base camp (Gangotri) is sunny and cloudy today. As for the batches:

• The 12th Sept batch is on its 4th day, and today, they will trek from Chirbasa To Bhojwasa.
• The batch of 13th September is on its 3rd day, and today, they will trek from Gangotri To Chirbasa.

Kuari Pass Trek

The weather at the base camp, Pipalkoti, is sunny today. As for batches:

• The batch of 13th Sept is on its 3rd day, and today, they will trek from Gulling Top to Tali Forest Camp.

Valley of Flowers Trek

The weather at the base camp, Pipalkoti, is sunny today. As for batches:

• The 14th September batch is on its second day, and today, they will drive from Pipalkoti to Govindghat-Pulna and Trek to Ghangaria.

HIMACHAL TREKS UPDATE

Hampta Pass Trek

The weather at the Hampta Pass base camp (Manali) is sunny and cloudy today. As for the batches:

• The two batches of 12th September are on their 4th day, and today they will trek from Shea Goru to Chatru and drive to Chandratal and back to Chatru.
• The batch of 13th Sept is on its 3rd day, and today, they will trek from Balu Ka Ghera to Shea Goru via Hampta Pass.
• The two batches of 14 Sept are on their second day, and today, they will trek from Chhika to Balu Ka Ghera.

Bhrigu Lake trek

The weather at the Bhrigu Lake trek base camp (Manali) is sunny and cloudy today. As for the batches:

• The batch of 12th September is on its 4th day, and today, they will trek from Rola Kholi to Gulaba & drive to Manali.

Buran Ghati Trek

The weather at the base camp, Janglik, continues to experience partially sunny and partially cloudy conditions. As for the batches:

• The batch of 13th Sept is on its 3rd day, and today, they will trek from Dayara Thatch to Litham.

Rupin Pass Trek

The weather at the base camp, Bawta, is experiencing sunny conditions. As for the batches:

• The batch of 13 Sept is on its 3rd day, and today, they will trek from Jakha to Saruwas Thatch.
• The batch of 14 Sept is on its second day, and today, they will trek from Bawta to Jakha.

Beas Kund Trek

The weather at the base camp of Beas Kund, Manali, is sunny and cloudy. As for the batches:

• The batch of 13th Sept is on its 3rd day, and today, they will trek from Lohali to Summit point via Lady Leg and Beas Kund and back to Lohali.

LEH - LADAKH EXPEDITION TREK

The weather across the Leh-Ladakh trekking routes is currently experiencing partly cloudy conditions.

As for the batches, here’s today’s update:

• The 5th September batches of:


1. Kang Yatse 1 and Kang Yatse 2 will Summit to KY I Peak & Descent to Camp 1.
2. Kang Yatse 2 and Dzo Jongo will have Rest Day + Training Day (Summit Night).


• The 12 Sept batch of Markha Valley trek has moved from Sara to Markha.
