It’s been quite a while since all the mountain regions have been experiencing clear weather, but you never know, in the upcoming days, these regions might experience fresh snowfall anytime soon. Therefore, you all should be prepared no matter what.

Our sole purpose in curating this weather update is to make your journey easier and more predictable. It carries extensive information regarding weather conditions and the current status of all the treks and batches.

INDIA TREKS UPDATE

• Uttarakhand Treks

Winter Kuari Pass Trek

After a fresh snowfall yesterday in Kuari Pass, the weather has cleared and shifted to sunny skies today. Apart from that, new winter treks have started—

• The 9th January batch is on day 4 of their schedule, and today they will move from Tali forest camp to Kuari Pass and back via Khullara Top.
• The 10th January batch is on day 3 of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Gulling Top to Tali Forest Camp.
• The 11th January batch is on their day 2 schedule, and today they will move from Pipalkoti to Gulling Top.

Chopta Chandrashila with Deoriatal (5 Days)

The weather in Sari, on the Chopta Chandrashila Trek, is all clear for now. As for the batch update -

• The 10th January batch is on their day 3 schedule, and today they will move from Deria Tal to Tala Village and drive to Baniyakund.

Dayara Bugyal Trek

The weather conditions on the Dayara Bugyal trek are clear for now. As for the batch update -

• The 10th January batch is on day 3 of their schedule, and today they will move from Gui to Chilapada.
• The 11th January batch is on day 2 of their trek, and today they will move from Natin to Gui.

Kedarkantha Trek

The Kedarkantha Trek is exhibiting clear weather throughout from the base camp, Sankri, to the summit. Regarding the batches—

• The 7th January batch is on the last day of their schedule, and today they will depart from Sanri to Dehradun.
• The 8th January batch is on day 5 of their schedule, and today they will move from Hargoan Camp to Sankri.
• The 10th January batch is on day 3 of their trek, and today they will move from Juda-Ka-Talab to Kedarkantha Base.

Brahmatal Trek

The weather in the Brahmatal Trek region is clear now. As for the batch update -

• The 7th January batch is on the last day of their trek, and today they will move from Lohajung to Rishikesh.
• The 8th January batch is on their day 5 schedule, and today they will move from Brahmatal to Lohajung.
• The 10th January batch is on day 3 of their schedule, and today they will move from Gujreni to Tilandi.
• The 11th January batch is on their day 2 trek, and today they will move from Lohajung to Gujreni.

Sandakphu Trek

The weather in Sepi, the base camp of the Sandakphu Trek, is completely clear for now. As for the batch update—

• The 6th January batch of Sandakphu is on day 7 of their schedule, and today they will move from Timburey to Srikhola and drive to NJP.
• The 7th January batch of Sandakphu is on day 6 of their schedule, and today they will move from Aal to Timburey via Sandakphu.
• The 8th January batch is on day 5 of their schedule, and today they will move from Thokum to Aal.
• The 9th January batch is on day 4 of their schedule, and today they will move from Phalut to Thokum.
• The 11th January batch is on day 2 of their schedule. And today they will move from Sepi to Samanden via Ramam.

SOUTH AFRICA TREK UPDATE

• Tanzania - Mount Kilimanjaro Trek

The weather in Moshi is currently clear, allowing trekkers to enjoy their trekking journey without any hurdles. As for the trek update -

A new batch of Mount Kilimanjaro was started on 11th January, and yesterday they arrived at the Moshi Base Camp.

• Currently, the 11th January batch is moving from Moshi Base Camp to Machame Gate.
