11th April 2026 Weather Update: Himalayas are Experiencing Cloudy and Sunny Weather
Currently, the Indian and Nepal trekking regions are witnessing mixed weather conditions, offering both challenges and scenic rewards for trekkers. In Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Sikkim, higher altitudes are expected to experience rainfall or even snow. Since unpredictability is the only predictable phenomenon in the higher Himalayas, trekkers can expect cold mornings, clear afternoons, cloudy evenings, and occasional snowfalls on popular routes.
In Nepal, the EBC and Manaslu Circuit will see clear and sunny weather today with mild temperatures and good visibility. The Annapurna Base Camp, however, is witnessing cloudy weather. There are chances of rain in the lower area and snow in the upper parts of the region. There is a 70% chance of precipitation today.
The trekkers who are about to go on the trek or have reached there are advised to carry light rain gear and be prepared for sudden changes.

- Uttarakhand Treks
Kuari Pass Trek
The weather in the Kuari Pass base camp (Pipalkoti) has changed again, and it has turned cloudy with chances of snowfall. As for the batch update -
- Two new batches have started on 11th April, and today, they will drive from Rishikesh to Pipalkoti.
Pangarchulla Trek
The weather in Pipalkoti, the base camp of the Pangarchulla trek, has turned cloudy today. As for the trek updates:
- The two batches of 5th Apri are on the 7th (last) day of their trek, and today they will drive from Pipalkoti to Rishikesh.
- The batch of 10th April is on its second day, and today they will drive from Pipalkoti to Tugasi village and Trek To Gulling Top.
Chopta Chandrashila Tungnath Trek with Deoriatal
Today, the weather in the Chopta base camp (Sari) is sunny. As for the batch updates -
- The batch of 10th April is on its second day, and today they will move from Sari to Lake Deoriatal.
- A new batch has started on 11th April, and today, it will move from Rishikesh to Sari Village.
Chopta Chandrashila 3-Day
The weather in Baniyakund (base camp) is sunny today. As for the batch updates:
- A new batch has started on 11th April, and today, it will move from Rishikesh to Baniyakund.
Dayara Bugyal Trek
The weather at the Dayara Bugyal trek base camp (Natin) has turned cloudy. As for the batch update -
- The batch of 10th April is on its second day, and today they will move from Natin to Gui.
Ranthan Kharak Trek
The weather at the Ranthan Kharak base camp (Gogina) is partially cloudy and partially sunny today. As for the batch update-
- The 9th April batch is on the 3rd day of its trek, and today they will Trek from Namik to Bajimanian Kharak.
Har Ki Dun Trek
The weather at the Har Ki Dun trek base camp (Sankari) is all cloudy today with chances of snowfall on higher altitudes. As for the batch update—
- The 5th April batch is on the 7th (last) day of their trek, and today, they will move from Sankri To Dehradun.
Ali Bedni Bugyal Trek
The weather at the base camp (Lohajung) of Ali Bedni is a little bit cloudy today. As for the batch update –
- The 5th April batch is on the last day of their trek, and today they will move from Lohajung to Rishikesh.
Kareri Lake Trek
The weather in Dharamshala (base camp) is cloudy with light rainfall today. As for the batch updates:
- A new batch has started today on 11th April, and they will move Dharamshala to Kareri Village Drive and Trek to Liyoti.
Nag Tibba Trek
The weather in Nag Tibba is partially cloudy today. As for the batch updates:
- A new batch has started today on 11th April, and they will drive from Dehradun to Pantwari and trek to Camp 1.
- North-East Trek
Goechala Trek
The weather at the Goechala base camp (Yuksom) is again cloudy today. As for the batch update -
- The 3rd April batch is on the 9th day of their trek, and today they will move from Thansing/Kokcharang to Tshokha via Phedang.
- The 4th April batch is on the 8th day of their trek, and today they will move from Lamuney to Goechala via Samiti Lake back to Thansing/Kokchhurung.
Sandakphu Trek
The weather at Sepi, the Sandakphu Base Camp, is all cloudy today. As for the batch updates -
- The 5th April batch is on the 7th day of their trek, and today they will move from Timburey to Srikhola and Drive to NJP Via Sepi.
- The 6th April batch is on the 6th day of their trek, and today they will move from Aal to Timburey via Sandakphu.
- The batch of 10th April is on its second day, and today they will move from Sepi to Samanden via Ramam.
NEPAL TREKS UPDATE
Everest Base Camp Trek
The weather on EBC is almost sunny and clear today. Few clouds are coming in but expected to be clear for the rest of the day. As for batch updates:
- A new batch for EBC has started on 11th April, and today, it will arrive in Kathmandu.
Annapurna Base Camp Trek
The weather on Annapurna Base Camp is partly cloudy with chances of rainfall. As for batch updates:
- A new batch for ABC has started on 11th April, and today, it will arrive in Pokhara.
Manaslu Circuit Trek
The weather on Manaslu Circuit is sunny today. As for batch updates:
- A new batch has started on 11th April, and today, it will arrive in Kathmandu.
