TTH Trek Update: New Batches of Bhrigu Lake, Pin Bhaba and Hampta Pass Begins Today
The weather across the trekking regions of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand remains mostly pleasant today. The weather ranges from sunny to cloudy across different trekking areas, with no rainfall reported at present.
All trekking batches are operating as scheduled. However, as weather in the mountains can change quickly during the monsoon season, trekkers are advised to carry all essential monsoon trekking gear and remain prepared for sudden changes in weather.
We recommend adding a few buffer days to your trekking itinerary and staying updated with the latest trek advisories. Here's the current status of all the ongoing trekking batches.
UTTARAKHAND TREKS UPDATE
Valley of Flowers Trek
The weather at the Valley of Flowers base camp (Pipalkoti) has turned cloudy today. As for the batches:
The two batches of 4th August are on the 6th day of their schedule, and today they will drive from Pipalkoti to Rishikesh.
The two batches of 5th August are on the 5th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Ghangaria to Govindghat and drive to Pipalkoti (Badrinath optional).
The 6th August batch is on the 4th day of their schedule, and today they will trek from Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib and back to Ghangaria.
The 7th of August batch is on the 3rd day, and today they will trek from Ghangaria to Valley of Flower and back to Ghangaria.
The two batches of 8th of Augustare on their second day, and today, they will drive from Pipalkoti to Govindghat-Pulna and Trek to Ghangaria.
Two New Batches have started on 9th of August, and today, they will drive from Rishikesh to Pipalkoti.
HIMACHAL TREKS UPDATE
Hampta Pass Trek
The weather at the Hampta Pass base camp (Manali) is a mix of sunny and cloudy today. As for the batches:
The 7th of August batch is on the 3rd day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Balu Ka Ghera to Shea Goru via Hampta Pass.
The 8th of August batch is on its second day and today, they will trek from Chhika to Balu Ka Ghera.
A new batch of Hampta Pass began on 9th August, and today they will move from Manali to Jobra and trek from Jobra to Chhika.
Pin Bhaba Trek
The weather at the Pin Bhaba Pass base camp (Kafnu) is a mix of sunny and cloudy today. As for the batches:
The 2nd of August batch is on the 8th day of their trek schedule, and today they will drive from Kaza to Manali.
The 8th of August batch is on the second day of its schedule, and today, they will trek from Kafnu to Mulling.
A new batch of Pin Bhaba has begun on 9th August, and today they will drive from Shimla to Kafnu.
Bhrigu Lake Trek
The weather at Gulaba, the base camp of the Bhrigu Lake trek, is sunny and cloudy today. As for the trekking schedule:
A new batch to Bhrigu Lake started on 9th of August, and today, they will drive from Manali to Gulaba and Trek to Gulaba Meadows.
Bhrigu Lake - Customized Trek
A customized batch has set off to Bhrigu Lake on 9th of August, and today, it will drive from Manali to Gulaba and Trek to Gulaba Meadows.
LEH-LADAKH EXPEDITION UPDATE
Across Leh–Ladakh, trekking routes are experiencing partly cloudy skies with light drizzle today. While the weather is currently stable, rain may occur later in the day. Trekkers are advised to keep a close watch on local weather updates and stay prepared for sudden changes in weather conditions.
Kang Yatse 2 Peak Expedition
The weather at the Kang Yatse 2 Peak Expedition is partly cloudy and drizzling today. As for the batch update:
The 1st August batch is on the 9th day of their trek schedule, and today they will summit (KANG YATSE II) and back to Base Camp. Two climbers have successfully summited Kang Yatse II.
Dzo Jongo East Peak With Markha Valley
The weather at the Dzo Jongo East Peak Trek is partly cloudy, but there is a chance it might drizzle later today. As for the batch update:
The 1st August batch is on the 9th day of their trek schedule, and today they will summit (Dzo Jongo East) and back to Dzo Jongo East Base camp. Four climbers have successfully summited Dzo Jongo East.

Cloudy and rainy weather is manageable with the right preparation, although extra caution is needed in the Himalayas.
Before stepping out, it's always better to check the latest weather updates.
Pack appropriate rain gear, and ensure your equipment is suitable for wet terrain.
More importantly, follow your trek leader’s instructions earnestly, and avoid unnecessary risks.
