Weather conditions across the trekking regions of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand are mixed today. Some regions are experiencing cloudy skies, some are experiencing sunny weather, while others are receiving rainfall. Although all trekking batches are operating as scheduled, we strongly advise you to carry all the essential monsoon trekking gear with you.

We recommend adding a few buffer days to your trekking itinerary and staying updated with the latest trek advisories. Here's the current status of all the ongoing trekking batches.

UTTARAKHAND TREKS UPDATE

Valley of Flowers Trek

The weather at the Valley of Flowers base camp (Pipalkoti) has turned rainy today. As for the batches:

• Two batches of 2nd August are on the last day of their schedule, and today they will first reach Pipalkoti and then Rishikesh.
• Two batches of 3rd August are on the 5th day of their schedule, and today they will reach Ghangaria to Govindghat and drive to Pipalkoti (Badrinath Optional).
• Two batches of 4th August are on the 4th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib and back to Ghangaria.
• Two batches of the 5th August are on the 3rd day of their schedule, and today they will trek from Ghangaria to the Valley of Flowers and back to Ghangaria.
• The 6th August batch is on the 2nd day, and today they will drive from Pipalkoti to Govindghat-Pulna and Trek to Ghangaria.
• A new batch of Valley of Flowers began on 7th August, and today they will drive from Rishikesh to Pipalkoti.

HIMACHAL TREKS UPDATE

Hampta Pass Trek

The weather at the Hampta Pass base camp (Manali) has turned cloudy today. As for the batches:

• The 3rd August batch is on the last day of their trek schedule, and today they will drive from Chatru to Manali.
• A new batch of Hampta Pass began on 7th August, and today they will move from Manali to Jobra and trek from Jobra to Chhika.

Pin Bhaba Trek

The weather at the Pin Bhaba Pass base camp (Kafnu) has turned rainy today. As for the batches:

• The 1st August batch is on the 7th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Bwaldar to Mudh and drive to Kaza.
• The 2nd August batch is on the 6th day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Phutsirang to Bwaldar via Bhaba Pass.

LEH-LADAKH EXPEDITION UPDATE

The trekking regions of Leh–Ladakh are witnessing partly cloudy weather today. However, the weather might change later, with a possibility of rain. We strongly advise you to stay updated with the latest local forecasts.

Kang Yatse 2 Peak Expedition

The weather at the Kang Yatse 2 Peak Expedition is partly cloudy today. As for the batch update -

• The 1st August batch is on the 7th day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Nimaling to Base Camp.

Markha Valley Trek

The weather on the Markha Valley Trek is partly cloudy today. As for the batch update -

• The 1st August batch is on the 7th day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Nimaling to Chokdo via Kongmaru La and drive to Leh.

Dzo Jongo East Peak With Markha Valley

The weather at the Dzo Jongo East Peak Trek is partly cloudy, but there is a chance it might drizzle later today. As for the batch update -

• The 1st August batch is on the 7th day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Nimaling to Dzo Jongo East Base Camp.
