Treks in the Himalayan region, including Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, are mostly dominated by cloudy and rainy weather today. But, even after that all the batches are running as per schedule, and that too smoothly. But trekkers are strictly advised to carry proper rain protection, waterproof footwear, and a backpack cover to keep their essential gear dry in case it rains. Our ground teams are continuously monitoring weather conditions to ensure safe movement on all routes.

Now, here is today’s update on various trekking batches.

UTTARAKHAND TREKS UPDATE

Har Ki Dun Trek

The weather at the Har Ki Dun base camp (Sankari) has finally taken a turn, and trekkers will experience rainy weather today. As for the batch update–

• The 30th May batch of a family with kids is on the last day, and today they will move from Sankari to Dehradun.
• The regular batch of 30th May is also on its last day of their trek, and today they will move from Sankari to Dehradun.

Kedar Tal Trek

The weather at the Kedar Tal base camp (Gangotri) is cloudy too. As for the batch update,

• The 30th May batch is on the last day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Gangotri to Dehradun.

Gaumukh Tapovan Trek

The weather at the Gaumukh Tapovan base camp in Gangotri is cloudy today. As for the batches:

• The 30th May batch is on the 7th day, and today they will move from Bhojwasa to Gangotri.
• The 31st May batch is on the 6th day, and today they will move from Tapovan to Bhojwasa via Gaumukh.
• A new batch of Gaumukh Tapovan has begun on 5th June, and today they will move from Dehradun to Gangotri.

Auden’s Col Expedition

The weather at the Auden’s Col expedition base camp (Gangotri) is cloudy today. Intermittent rainfall is expected throughout the day. As for the batch update –

• The 30th May batch is on the 7th day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Auden’s Col Base Camp to Khatling Glacier Camp via Auden's Col.

Bali Pass Trek

The weather at the Bali Pass base camp (Sankari) has finally taken a turn, and trekkers will experience rainy weather today. As for the batch update—

• The 29th May batch is on the last day of their trek schedule, and today, they will trek from Bali Col Camp to Lower Dhamni via Bali Pass.
• The 30th May batch is on the 7th day of their trek schedule, and today, they will trek from Bali Col Camp to Lower Dhamni via Bali Pass.
• The 31st May batch is on the 6th day of their trek schedule, and today, they will trek from Odari to Bali Col Camp.
• A new batch of Bali Pass has begun on 5th June, and today they will move from Dehradun to Sankari.

Ali Bedni Bugyal Trek

The weather at the base camp of the Ali Bedni Trek (Lohajung) is cloudy today. As for the batches:

• The 31st May batch is on the last day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Lohajung to Rishikesh.

Kuari Pass Trek

The weather at the base camp of Kuari Pass (Pipalkoti) is all cloudy. As for the batches:

• The 31st May batch is on the last day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Pipalkoti to Rishikesh. via Gurson bugyal and Auli.

Phulara Ridge Trek

The weather at the base camp of Phulara Ridge (Sankari) has finally taken a turn, and trekkers will experience rainy weather today. As for the batches:

• The 31st May batch is on the last day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Sankari to Dehradun.

HIMACHAL TREKS UPDATE

Rupin Pass Trek

The weather at the Rupin Pass Trek base camp (Bawta) is all cloudy today. As for the batch update,

• The two batches of 30th May are on the last day of their schedule, and today they will move from Upper Waterfall to Ronti Gad via Rupin Pass.
• The two batches of 31th May are on the last day of their schedule, and today they will move from Upper Waterfall to Ronti Gad via Rupin Pass.
• The 1st June batch is on the 5th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Dandreyash Thatch to Upper Waterfall.
• The 2nd June batch is on the 4th day of their schedule, and today they will move from Saruwas Thatch to Dandreyash Thatch.
• A new batch of Rupin Pass has begun on 5th June, and today they will arrive in Bawta.

Buran Ghati Trek

The weather in Janglik, the base camp of the Buran Ghati trek, is all rainy today. As for the trek updates:

• The two batches of 30th May are on the last day of their schedule, and today they will trek from Munirang to Barua Village and drive to Shimla.
• The two batches of 31st May are on the 6th day of their schedule, and today they will trek from Dhunda to Munirang via Buran Ghati Pass.
• The two batches of 1st June are on the 5th day of their schedule, and today they will trek from Litham to Dhunda.
• The 2nd June batch is on the 4th day of their schedule, and today is an acclimatisation day and a visit to Chandranahan Lake.
• The 3rd June batch is on the 3rd day of their schedule, and today they will move from Dayara Thatch to Litham.

Friendship Peak Expedition

The weather at the base camp of the Friendship expedition (Manali) is rainy today. As for the batches:

• The 31st May batch of the expedition is on the 6th day of their trek schedule, and today they will move for Summit attempt and back to Lady Leg Camp.

Hampta Pass Trek

The weather at the Hampta Pass base camp (Manali) is rainy today. As for the batches:

• The three batches of 2nd June are on the 4th day of their trek schedule, and today they will drive from Chatru to Manali.
• The three batches of 3rd June are on the 3rd day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Balu Ka Ghera to Shea Goru via Hampta Pass.
• The three batches of 4th June are on the 2nd day of their trek schedule, and today they will trek from Chhika to Balu Ka Ghera.
• Three new batches of the Hampta Pass started on 5th June, and today, they will drive from Manali to Jobra and then trek from Jobra to Chhika.

Despite all the rainy conditions in the past and cloudy weather currently, all treks are proceeding smoothly, and the mountains continue to offer stunning experiences.
