Feb 4th 2026, Trek Update- It’s All Sunny Again: Perfect Weather to Trek in the Himalayas

The weather has shifted from mixed spells to sunny, then back to cloudy again across most of the treks. Having said that, if reports are to be believed, rain or snowfall is predicted in high-altitude treks in a couple of days. So, the weather seems full of surprises ahead.

Our team out there has a close watch on the weather and its changing pattern; therefore, we can provide the precise updates to you. Here are our latest updates:

INDIA TREKS UPDATE

• Uttarakhand Treks

Winter Kuari Pass Trek

The weather in the Kuari Pass base camp (Pipalkoti) has turned all bright and sunny again. As for the batch updates -

• The 31st January batch is on the 5th day of their trek schedule, and it will move from Tali Forest Camp - Pipalkoti via Gurson Bugyal and Auli.
• The 2nd February batch is on the 3rd day of their trek schedule, and today they will move from Gulling Top to Tali Forest Camp.

Kedarkantha Trek

The weather in the Kedarkantha base camp, Sankri is changing rapidly. Yesterday it was raining there, but today the weather there is all bright and sunny.

• The 2nd January batch is on the 3rd day of their schedule, and today they will move from Juda-Ka-Talab to Kedarkantha Base.

Brahmatal Trek

The weather in the Brahmatal base camp (Lohajung) is all bright and sunny for now.

• The 30th January batch is on the last day of their schedule, and today they will move from Lohajung to Rishikesh.
• The 2nd February batch is on the 3rd day of their schedule, and today they will move from Gujreni to Tilandi.

Dayara Bugyal Trek

The weather in the Dayara Bugyal Trek is quite clear and sunny for now. As for the batch updates -

• The 2nd February batch is on the 3rd day of their schedule, and today they will move from Gui to Chilapada.

Gulabi Kantha Trek

The weather in the Gulabi Kantha base camp, Hanuman Chatti, is also sunny and clear, and will remain so throughout the day.

• The 2nd February batch is on the 2nd February batch of their schedule, and today they will move from Kandola Chhani to Seema Thatch.

Sandakphu Trek

The weather in Sepi, the base camp of the Sandakphu Trek, has turned cloudy for now and currently, there is no ongoing batch of Sandakphu for now.
