At Trek The Himalayas, we understand that things don’t always go as planned. If you couldn’t complete your trek or just want to experience it once more, we’re giving you a wonderful opportunity – the chance to do the trek again without having to pay the trek fee again.
Pay a one-time fee to select your favourite trek, and you can repeat it as many times as you want within 5 years.
The Repeat Your Trek Policy by Trek The Himalayas allows eligible trekkers to repeat the same trek without paying the trek fee again. There could be multiple reasons or scenarios for any trekker to repeat a particular trek. These are:
This policy allows you to revisit your favourite trek, experience it in a different season, or improve your trekking skills. However, applicable charges such as transportation, insurance, permits, GST, and other mandatory fees must still be paid.
Anyone who has completed (or at least been to base camp) one of TTH’s selected fixed departure treks is entitled to the Repeat Your Trek Policy. It’s important to understand that the eligibility is subject to the policy's terms and conditions and is available only to the original trek participant.
No. The Repeat Your Trek Policy applies only to selected treks offered by Trek The Himalayas. Please refer to the list of eligible treks or get in touch with our team of coordinators to confirm whether your preferred trek is covered under the policy.
These are the treks excluded from the Repeat Your Trek Policy:
Not necessarily. But the offer will only be activated once you’ve reached the base camp of that particular trek.
The Repeat Your Trek Policy is valid for five years from the date of reaching the trek’s base camp. So, you can book your repeat trek anytime within this period, which will be subject to seat availability and the policy terms.
Yes. You can repeat the same permitted trek multiple times during the five-year validity period without paying the trek fee again. But you need to pay transportation, insurance, and trek permit costs. Also, for permitted treks, there are conditions applicable for seat availability as per the terms and conditions.
Although you don’t need to pay the trek fee under the Repeat Your Trek Policy, you are required to pay for the other applicable charges. These mandatory charges include transportation, insurance, permits, GST, and any other fees specified by Trek The Himalayas at the time of booking.
No. Trek insurance is not included under the Repeat Your Trek Policy. Trekkers are required to pay the applicable insurance charges when booking their repeat trek. Trek Insurance is basically a separate charge that is mandatory to be paid, which will not automatically carry over even if you had paid for it originally.
Yes. You may choose any available departure for your repeat trek, but as per terms and conditions and seat availability. In other words, your preferred departure must have vacant spots at the time of booking, and the confirmation will also depend on your eligibility and compliance with the policy.
Yes. You can repeat the same eligible (permitted) trek in a different season as many times as you want. But the trek is subject to the availability of departures. Doing the same trek in another season not only offers a unique viewing experience, but it also offers a completely different perspective. When the same landscapes and same routes are witnessed in a different season, they always stun the viewer.
Yes, you can trek again without paying the trek fee. But before that, you must fulfil the criteria to become eligible for that. For example, after booking a trek, you should have at least gone to its base camp within the five-year validity period.
Yes. Trek The Himalayas reserves the right to revoke your permission. Here are the scenarios for that:
No. The Repeat Your Trek Policy is non-transferable and can only be used by the original trekker. It is valid only on selected fixed departures offered by Trek The Himalayas.
No, because the offer will be activated only when you reach the trek base camp. This means the Repeat Your Trek Policy does not become valid as soon as you book your trek. It is activated only when you physically arrive and report at the designated trek base camp.
