Safari Itinerary

Day-1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Your exciting Tanzania safari begins early in the morning as you depart from Arusha and set out on a scenic drive to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. As the journey begins, enjoy the changing landscapes, as you pass through the Great Rift Valley and the stunning Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive itself is a beautiful experience.

By midday, you’ll arrive in the legendary Serengeti, a name that means "endless plains" in the local Maasai language. Soon after entering the park, you'll head straight into your first game drive, and this is where the magic begins. With your guide leading the way, you’ll begin to spot the Big Five, lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino alongside many other animals like zebras, giraffes, gazelles, hyenas, and more. The Serengeti is not only famous for its wildlife but also for hosting the world’s largest wildlife migration, where millions of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles journey across the plains in search of fresh grazing lands. It’s a truly spectacular sight if you're lucky enough to witness it. The endless golden plains, scattered acacia trees, and soft breeze create a peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel deeply connected to nature.

Take your time and look up too. Over 500 bird species fill the skies and trees with color and sound, from eagles to bright lilac-breasted rollers. In the afternoon, stop for a picnic lunch at a designated area within the park. Surrounded by nature, this break is both relaxing and refreshing, giving you a moment to simply enjoy the views and the quiet wild. After lunch, continue exploring the Serengeti on another game drive. The landscape constantly shifts, revealing new surprises at every turn, herds grazing peacefully, predators resting under the shade, or a curious giraffe peeking through the treetops. Keep your camera ready, but also take moments to just breathe it all in.

By evening, you’ll head to your lodge or tented camp within the Serengeti, where a warm dinner awaits. As the sun sets over the vast plains and the stars begin to fill the sky, you’ll settle in for your overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the wild, ending your first day with unforgettable memories and a heart full of wonder.

Day-2: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
